CONSTRUÇÃO E VALIDAÇÃO DE ÁLBUM SERIADO PARA PREVENÇÃO DE QUEDAS EM IDOSOS RESIDENTES DE INSTITUIÇÃO DE LONGA PERMANÊNCIA

As quedas são reconhecidas como importante problema de saúde pública entre os idosos e é a principal causa de morte por trauma, podendo conduzir a outras consequências graves para esta população. Destaca-se que existem fatores de riscos específicos que aumentam significativamente a probabilidade de quedas em idosos residentes de Instituições de Longa Permanência para Idosos (ILPIs), o que chama atenção para medidas de prevenção para estes incidentes. Nesse contexto, objetivou-se nesta pesquisa construir um álbum seriado para prevenção de quedas em idosos residentes de instituições de longa permanência e após isso, validar conteúdo e aparência desta tecnologia desenvolvida a partir da avaliação dos juízes. A pesquisa desenvolveu-se em duas fases: um estudo descritivo em uma ILPI que constituiu o diagnóstico situacional e a segunda fase foi uma pesquisa metodológica, com a construção e validação do álbum seriado. O estudo descritivo foi realizado em uma ILPI do município de Fortaleza e foram incluídos na amostra todos os 80 residentes da instituição. Nesta fase, os idosos foram caracterizados em relação aos seus aspectos sociodemográficos e de saúde e foram avaliados quanto a sua dependência funcional, o risco de quedas e por último houve a investigação das quedas que foram relatadas na coleta de dados. Em seguida, na primeira fase da pesquisa metodológica ocorreu a fundamentação teórica e científica para a construção da tecnologia educativa por meio do livro “Teaching Patients with Low Literacy Skills”. Para a elaboração do material, segunda fase, utilizou-se um guia desenvolvido pelos membros do MaineHealth e organizações afiliadas para comunicação em saúde: A Guide to Creating and Evaluating Patient Materials. Após isso, foi realizada a elaboração do álbum seriado a partir das informações levantadas anteriormente, selecionado o conteúdo que seria abordado e consultada uma designer gráfica para a construção das figuras. A terceira fase envolveu o processo de validação de conteúdo e aparência do álbum seriado, participaram 25 juízes conforme os critérios de seleção pré-estabelecidos. O Índice de Validação de Conteúdo (IVC) total do álbum seriado foi de 0,80, considerado assim, a tecnologia validada de acordo a referência mínima utilizada para este índice. Em relação aos Índices de Correlação Intraclasse (ICC) entre as opiniões dos profissionais não atingiram ao valor mínimo almejado (0,70): Conteúdo (ICC: 0,382); Linguagem (ICC: 0,405); Ilustrações (ICC: 0,603); Layout (ICC: 0,475); e Motivação (ICC: 0,62). Em
relação ao uso do questionário SAM para a avaliação da adequação do material educativo, o álbum seriado foi classificado como superior (89,14%). Após a finalização da validação de conteúdo, aparência e adequabilidade do álbum, foram analisadas as sugestões dos juízes e o material sofreu as edições sugeridas antes na finalização. A construção do álbum seriado envolveu conhecimento científico, primeiramente com o desenvolvimento de uma pesquisa descritiva em uma ILPI para realização de um diagnóstico situacional, com o objetivo de conhecer o perfil dos idosos e relacionar com a dependência funcional e o risco de quedas e fundamentação em um livro e guia para a construção de materiais, em seguida contou com um trabalho de um profissional de designer gráfico e diagramação. Vale ressaltar que as contribuições dos juízes foram consideradas até a versão final do álbum seriado.

Abstract:
Falls are recognized as an important public health problem among the elderly and are the leading cause of death from trauma, leading to other serious consequences for this population. It should be noted that there are specific risk factors that significantly increase the probability of falls in elderly people living in Long-Term Care Facilities for the Elderly (ILPIs), which calls attention to prevention measures for these incidents. In this context, the objective of this research was to construct a serial album for the prevention of falls in elderly residents of long-stay institutions and after that, validate content and appearance of this technology developed from the evaluation of the judges. The research was developed in two phases: a descriptive study in an ILPI that constituted the situational diagnosis and the second phase was a methodological research, with the construction and validation of the serial album. The descriptive study was carried out in a LPAI in the city of Fortaleza, and all 80 residents of the institution were included in the sample. In this phase, the elderly were characterized in relation to their sociodemographic and health aspects and were evaluated for their functional dependence, the risk of falls and finally the investigation of the falls that were reported in the data collection. Then, in the first phase of the methodological research, the theoretical and scientific foundation for the construction of educational technology occurred through the book "Teaching Patients with Low Literacy Skills". A guide developed by members of MaineHealth and affiliated organizations for health communication: A Guide to Creating and Evaluating Patient Materials was used for the preparation of the material, second phase. After that, the elaboration of the serial album was carried out from the information previously raised, selecting the content that would be approached and consulted a graphic designer for the construction of the figures. The third phase involved the process of content validation and appearance of the serial album, 25 judges participated according to pre-established selection criteria. The total Content Validation Index (IVC) of the serial album was 0.80, considered thus, the technology validated according to the minimum reference used for this index. In relation to the Intraclass Correlation Indices (ICC) among the opinions of the professionals did not reach the minimum value sought (0.70): Content (ICC: 0.382); Language (ICC: 0,405); Illustrations (ICC: 0,603); Layout (ICC: 0.475); and Motivation (ICC: 0.62). Regarding the use of the SAM questionnaire to evaluate the adequacy of the
educational material, the serial album was classified as superior (89.14%). After completing the validation of content, appearance and suitability of the album, the judges' suggestions were analyzed and the material suffered the editions suggested before the finalization.
