FORMAÇÃO DOCENTE PARA PREVENÇÃO AOS DESASTRES EM

Resumo:
O trabalho em epígrafe tem sua gênese a partir da linha de pesquisa “Climatologia, Docência e Prevenção dos Desastres Naturais”, relacionando-se com o registro dos fenômenos físicos desencadeadores de desastres, comumente descritos como “desastres naturais”, e suas repercussões negativas no seio da sociedade. Ao analisar os registros de desastres nas últimas décadas verificamos que muito do que vem ocorrendo no mundo, no Brasil e no Ceará, está intimamente ligado à desinformação sobre as vulnerabilidades e riscos existentes em determinas áreas urbanas. Com o intuito de disseminar tais informações mediante qualificação formal e efetiva, buscouse verificar a possibilidade de inserir no curso de Licenciatura em Geografia a disciplina de Gestão Integrada de Risco de Desastres. De fato, o planeta vem ao longo dos tempos sofrendo diversas intervenções humanas, e por estas, se faz necessário que os tratos populacionais saibam como viver e trabalhar num planeta transformado, de modo que possam contribuir para a perpetuação de seus habitantes. Portanto, e com fulcro nos sinistros decorrentes de eventos climáticos ocorridos no Brasil, apresentou a seguinte indagação: é possível a inserção da disciplina de Gestão Integrada de Risco de Desastres no ensino superior? O curso de Licenciatura em Geografia é o que apresenta sinergia com a Gestão Integrada de Risco de Desastres e que poderá potencializar a criação de uma cultura de prevenção frente aos desastres naturais. Com o intuito de balizar a construção deste trabalho de pesquisa tomamos como objetivo geral: analisar a possibilidade de inserção da Gestão Integrada de Risco de Desastres – GIRD na matriz curricular do curso de Licenciatura em Geografia da Universidade Estadual do Ceará. Para a consecução desta pesquisa, utilizou-se, quanto à abordagem, a pesquisa quantitativa e qualitativa, através de uma pesquisa de campo do tipo estruturada, com a aplicação de questionário. Ao que se refere ao tipo de pesquisa utilizada, foi empregada a pesquisa explicativa e descritiva. Bem como pesquisa bibliográfica e documental, como forma de fundamentar o estudo em epígrafe. Diante do exposto, o trabalho foi dividido em cinco capítulos. Por fim verificou-se que é pertinente a inserção da GIRD à matriz curricular do curso supramencionado como forma de agregar valor aos docentes permitindo-lhes disseminar estes conteúdos para criação de uma cultura de prevenção aos desastres naturais. Abstract:
The work in question has its genesis from the research line "Climatology, Teaching and Prevention of Natural Disasters", relating to the record of the physical phenomena that trigger disasters, commonly described as "natural disasters", and their negative repercussions on the society. In analyzing the records of disasters in the last decades we find that much of what has been happening in the world, in Brazil and in Ceará, is closely linked to the disinformation about vulnerabilities and risks existing in certain urban areas. In order to disseminate such information through formal and effective qualification, it was sought to verify the possibility of inserting in the course of Degree in Geography the discipline of Integrated Management of Disaster Risk. In fact, the planet has over time suffered various human interventions, and for these, it is necessary that the population deal with how to live and work on a transformed planet, so that they can contribute to the perpetuation of its inhabitants. Therefore, and with fulcrum in the claims arising from climatic events occurred in Brazil, the following question was asked: is it possible to insert the discipline of Integrated Disaster Risk Management in higher education? The course of Degree in Geography is the one that presents synergy with the Integrated Management of Disaster Risk and that could potentiate the creation of a culture of prevention against the natural disasters. In order to base the construction of this research, we have as a general objective: to analyze the possibility of insertion of Integrated Disaster Risk Management - GIRD in the curricular matrix of the Degree in Geography of the State University of Ceará. For the accomplishment of this research, the quantitative and qualitative research was used, through a field research of the structured type, with the application of a questionnaire. Regarding the type of research used, explanatory and descriptive research was used. As well as bibliographical and documentary research, as a way of substantiating the study in the epigraph. In view of the above, the work was divided into five chapters. Finally, it was verified that it is pertinent to insert the IWRM into the curricular matrix of the aforementioned course as a way of adding value to teachers, enabling them to disseminate these contents to create a culture of prevention of natural disasters.
