AVALIAÇÃO INTERANUAL DAS ANOMALIAS DE CHUVAS
DA BACIA HIDROGRÁFICA DO RIO MUNDAÚ - CEARÁ

Resumo:
Este trabalho avalia a variabilidade temporal e espacial das precipitações da Bacia Hidrográfica do Rio Mundaú - CE, buscando relações entre as alterações climáticas em curso na escala mundial, e possíveis alterações em escala regional e suas consequências na hidrologia local. Para a realização deste trabalho foram analisadas séries históricas de precipitações dos postos pluviométricos da FUNCEME localizados nas proximidades da serra de Uruburetama, sertão e na região costeira ao longo da bacia no período de 1976 a 2017. Foram feitas análises estatísticas para obtenção das médias e do desvio padrão, além da realização de testes de tendências e correlação. O comportamento pluviométrico ao longo do tempo foi analisado através do método IAC – Índice de Anomalias de Chuvas, possibilitando a identificação de período com anomalias de positivas e períodos com anomalias negativas, além da relação destas anomalias com as oscilações de temperatura do Oceano Pacífico central. Além da avaliação das precipitações foram avaliados o Índice de Aridez do solo (IA) através do método de Penman-Monteith/FAO e o uso e cobertura do solo através do geoprocessamento de imagens de satélite. A análise do IAC mostra uma leve predominância de anomalias negativas de chuvas na área da bacia, com ciclos de anos secos e anos úmidos, sendo o último período de 2012 a 2016 o período seco mais prolongado da série, mesmo assim não se identifica alteração consistente no clima regional na série estudada. Por sua vez através do mapeamento do uso e cobertura do solo com a utilização de imagens de satélites verificou-se uma forte antropização do espaço natural e uma consequente remoção da cobertura vegetal nativa nas últimas três décadas. Os testes não apresentaram tendência significativa de precipitações na bacia, verificaram-se tendências negativas em dois dos quatro postos analisados, foi observado aumento de anomalias negativas de chuvas em todos os postos, e identificado uma significativa relação de anomalias negativas de chuvas com o fenômeno ENOS.

Abstract:
This work evaluates the temporal-spatial variability of the rainfall in the Mundaú River basin – CE, seeking relationships between ongoing climate change on a global scale, and possible regional scale changes and their consequences for local hydrology. For the accomplishment of this work, historical series of precipitations of the pluviometric stations of FUNCEME located near the Uruburetama mountain range, sertão and in the coastal region along the basin were analyzed in the period from 1976 to 2017. Statistical analyzes were performed to obtain means and standard deviation, as well as tests of trends and correlation. The pluviometric behavior over time was analyzed through the IAC - Rainfall Anomalies Index, allowing the identification of period with positive anomalies and periods with negative anomalies, besides the relation of these anomalies with the temperature oscillations of the Central Pacific Ocean. In addition to the precipitation evaluation, the Soil Aridity Index (IA) was evaluated using the Penman-Monteith / FAO method and soil use and cover through geoprocessing of satellite images. The IAC analysis shows a slight predominance of negative rainfall anomalies in the basin area, with cycles of dry years and wet years, the last period from 2012 to 2016 being the longest dry period in the series, even though no consistent change is identified in the regional climate in the studied series. On the other hand, through the mapping of the use and coverage of the ground with the use of satellite images, a strong anthropization of the natural space and a consequent removal of native vegetation cover in the last three decades. The tests did not present a significant tendency of rainfall in the basin, negative trends were observed in two of the four stations analyzed, an increase in negative anomalies of rainfall was observed in all the stations, and a significant relation of negative anomalies of rainfall with the phenomenon ENSO.
