Resumo:
RESUMO A temática deste trabalho envolve as relações de gênero na Educação Infantil procurando entender as práticas pedagógicas da professora, e também enfatizando o contexto social e as relações presentes em sala de aula que influenciam na educação. O objetivo principal consiste em reconhecer como as práticas sexistas interferem no cotidiano da educação infantil. Além de outros objetivos, tais como: reconhecer a postura do (a) professor (a) e das crianças diante das situações que envolvam gênero e sexualidade, além de identificar a influência do ambiente e dos materiais didáticos na educação e analisar os momentos de brincadeiras das crianças. O trabalho foi constituído de pressupostos teóricos como Piaget (1999) e Vygotsky (1991) para o olhar do desenvolvimento da criança, além de Ribeiro (2003), Louro (1997, 2000) e Beauvoir (1960) para as temáticas sobre sexualidade e gênero na realidade da educação infantil. A metodologia utilizada foi o estudo de caso, realizando observações e entrevista com o intuito de perceber as relações de gênero presentes na rotina escolar das crianças. O preconceito ainda existente em relação à mulher e a influência da sociedade no ambiente escolar interferem diretamente nas práticas dos professores (as) e na educação, seja no âmbito escolar ou social. A informação e a conscientização sobre esse tema são a base para se ter uma educação igualitária e não-sexista. Palavras-chave: Gênero. Sexualidade. Educação Infantil.
Abstract:
ABSTRACT The topic of this paper refers to gender relations in Childhood Education and aims to understand the teacher’s pedagogic practices by trying to emphasize the social context and the classroom relations that influence in education. The main aim consists in recognizing how sexist practices interfere in the daily activities of childhood education. Other aims are: recognizing the teacher’s and children’s attitudes in face of situations that involve gender and sexuality in addition to identify the environment and didactic material influence in education and analyze the playful moments of the children. The paper was comprised of theoretical frameworks such as Piaget’s (1999) and Vygotsky’s (1991) regarding the child development, as well as Ribeiro’s (2003), Louro (1997, 2000) and Beauvoir’s (1960) related to topics about gender and sexuality in childhood education. The methodology consisted in a case study which is based on observations and interviews with the objective of realizing gender relations that are present in the kids’ school routine. The prejudice that still exists in relation to women and society’s influence in the school environment directly interfere in the teacher’s practices and in education regardless of the place which could be inside the school or in a social environment. Information and awareness about this topic are key for an equal and non-sexist education. Keywords: Gender. Sexuality. Childhood Education.
