Meditação. Salvação. Esses são alguns dos significados que permeiam o conteúdo
simbólico das representações sociais de mulheres negras sobre a Escrita, objeto de
pesquisa desta tese, que tem como objetivo geral analisar as representações sociais que
escritoras negras constroem, discursivamente, sobre a Escrita enquanto objeto de
representação e, como objetivos específicos, descrever as facetas temática-identificacional e argumentativa-atitudinal de tais representações. Destaque-se que esta
tese pode ser lida como um retrato discursivo da experiência subjetiva de mulheres negras
com a palavra, observados aspectos ao mesmo tempo discursivos, sociais e psicológicos
que marcam um lugar de escrita. A convergência de tais aspectos na análise foi possível
por meio de uma interface teórico-metodológica estabelecida entre Linguística Aplicada,
lugar epistemológico do qual enuncio, e a Psicologia Social, lugar epistemológico com o
qual dialogo, resultando esse encontro no que tem se configurado como uma Abordagem
Discursiva das Representações Sociais (ADRS). Para acessar as representações sociais de
escritoras negras sobre o objeto Escrita, recorri, em termos metodológicos, a uma
pesquisa centrada em sujeitos (Kilomba, 2019), a partir da qual estabeleci uma
aproximação etnográfico-discursiva (Magalhães; Martins; Resende, 2017) com cinco
mulheres negras escritoras, todas residentes na cidade de Fortaleza-CE. Os encontros
ocorreram em diferentes lugares da cidade, com coleta de material discursivo, por meio
de entrevistas e registro de artefatos culturais. Considerando diálogos transdisciplinares
estabelecidos e tendo como base teórico-metodológica da pesquisa ADRS, duas
categorias analíticas foram construídas na análise dos dados: a faceta temáticoidentificacional, que tem como aporte teórico-metodológico um diálogo entre estudos
sobre themata (Moscovici, 2007) e os estudos sobre significados do discurso (Fairclough,
2003); e a faceta argumentativo-atitudinal, que tem como aporte teórico-metodológico
estudos retóricos sobre argumentação (Perelman; Tyteca, 1996; Menezes, 2011; Fiorin,
2018) e estudos sobre Atitude (Doise, 2001, 2010). Considerando, ainda, a complexidade
cognitiva, social e discursiva que atravessa a experiência subjetiva de mulheres negras
com a palavra, os estudos sobre literatura e cultura (hooks, 2019; Cuti, 2010; Anzaldúa,
2000), racismo estrutural (Almeida, 2019), feminismo decolonial (Vergès, 2020) e
interseccionalidade (Crenshaw, 2002; Akotirene, 2018) foram algumas das discussões
teóricas que fundamentaram o processo de análise do objeto estudado. Os resultados da
pesquisa apontaram para a pluralidade de significações e implicações subjetivas que
permeiam a construção de representações sociais de mulheres negras sobre o objeto de
representação Escrita: elaborações poéticas e metafóricas, aproximação e distanciamento
de questões raciais na escrita, o receio e potência da autonomeção como escritoras,
singularidades, diferenças, vivências plurais marcam, discursivamente, as
Representações Sociais (RS) das participantes desta pesquisa sobre a Escrita.

Suffering. Passion. Portal. Life. Humanity. Provocation. Refuge. Company. Meditation.
Salvation. These are some of the meanings that permeate the symbolic content of black
women's social representations of Writing, the subject of this thesis, whose general aim
is to analyze the social representations that black women writers discursively construct
about Writing as an object of representation and, as specific aims, to describe the
thematic-identificational and argumentative-attitudinal facets of such representations. It
should be noted that this thesis can be read as a discursive portrait of the subjective
experience of black women with the word, observing the discursive, social and
psychological aspects that mark a place of writing. The convergence of these aspects in
the analysis was made possible through a theoretical-methodological interface established
between Applied Linguistics, the epistemological place from which I speak, and Social
Psychology, the epistemological place with which I dialog, resulting in what has been
configured as a Discursive Approach to Social Representations (ADRS). In order to
access the social representations of black women writers on the subject of Writing, I
resorted, in methodological terms, to subject-centered research (Kilomba, 2019), from
which I established an ethnographic-discursive approach (Magalhães; Martins; Resende,
2017) with five black women writers, all living in the city of Fortaleza-CE. The meetings
took place in different parts of the city, collecting discursive material through interviews
and recording cultural artifacts. Considering the transdisciplinary dialogues established
and using the theoretical-methodological basis of ADRS research, two analytical
categories were constructed in the analysis of the data: the thematic-identificational facet,
which has as its theoretical-methodological input a dialog between studies on themata
(Moscovici, 2007) and studies on discourse meanings (Fairclough, 2003); and the
argumentative-attitudinal facet, which has as its theoretical-methodological input
rhetorical studies on argumentation (Perelman; Tyteca, 1996; Menezes, 2011; Fiorin,
2018) and studies on Attitude (Doise, 2001, 2010). Also considering the cognitive, social
and discursive complexity that runs through the subjective experience of black women
with the word, studies on literature and culture (hooks, 2019; Cuti, 2010; Anzaldúa,
2000), structural racism (Almeida, 2019), decolonial feminism (Vergès, 2020) and
intersectionality (Crenshaw, 2002; Akotirene, 2018) were some of the theoretical
discussions that underpinned the process of analyzing the object studied. The results of
the research pointed to the plurality of meanings and subjective implications that
permeate the construction of social representations of black women on the object of
representation Writing: poetic and metaphorical elaborations, approximation and
distancing of racial issues in writing, the fear and power of self-honoring as writers,
singularities, differences, plural experiences discursively mark the Social Representations
(SR) of the participants of this research on Writing.
