Significação e Tema do signo ideológico “cura” em narrativas autobiográficas: entre a performance de cuidado em saúde de educadores populares e as práticas integrativas e complementares

Esta tese objetivou analisar como a cura é (re)significada e tematizada em narrativas autobiográficas de terapeutas de Práticas Integrativas e Complementares que se utilizam das bases da educação popular, em Paulo Freire, para a promoção do cuidado em saúde. Para cumprir este objetivo, adotamos como arcabouço teórico as ideias de Mikhail Bakhtin e do seu Círculo, sobretudo as que estão em Marxismo e Filosofia da Linguagem (2021). Para organização do referencial teórico, no primeiro capítulo, discorremos sobre Linguagem e Saúde, no qual a investigação se volta para a questão da cura, sua etimologia, modelos de cuidado-saúde-doença, o problema da educação popular em Paulo Freire e da Política Nacional de Práticas Integrativas e Complementares no SUS. No segundo capítulo, refletimos sobre a linguagem e o contexto da vida, a partir de quatro vertentes: a Pragmática cultural em questões de relevância social na saúde, a abordagem dialógica do Círculo Bakhtiniano, o gênero discursivo narrativo, de base autobiográfica, e o binômio Tema e Significação. A metodologia da investigação de narrativas autobiográficas escritas e orais possibilitou a discussão teórica sobre o signo ideológico da palavra cura, impresso nessas narrativas, a respeito de seu processo de significação e tematização. Pela recorrência do signo ideológico “cura”, identificamos que os sentidos da palavra dialogam com o sentido de cuidado e restabelecimento. Selecionamos seis sentidos, que, muitas vezes, se ligam à ressignificação da palavra nos enunciados das autobiografias de educadores e educadoras populares que atuam com as práticas integrativas e complementares. Os sentidos selecionados se referem à cura como: bem-estar; amor incondicional; reconhecimento de si; conexão com a natureza; experiência de transferência de energia com as mãos; toque. As marcas de cura que se repetem em enunciados similares reforçam o significado dicionarizado de cura como resgate da saúde, porém, são tematizadas dentro de um contexto terapêutico em que se resgatar a saúde é se curar do corpo e da mente, sentido este que só é apreendido quando conseguimos entender a realização (VOLÓCHINOV, 2021) do enunciado (tema). No limite entre tema e significação, as marcas enunciativas de cura, em uso, dizem-nos que a cura só faz sentido se houver conexão, bem-estar, se o toque abrir o coração para o fluxo do incondicional, se fizer o ser vibrar. O ineditismo desta pesquisa de doutorado foi a elaboração do conceito da terapêutica dialógica dos sentidos de cura a ser desenvolvido pelo toque de trabalhos posteriores no diálogo com manifestações da interação entre educação popular em saúde e estudos da linguagem.
Abstract:
This thesis aimed to analyze how healing is (re)signified and thematized in autobiographical narratives of therapists of Integrative and Complementary Practices who use the bases of popular education, in Paulo Freire, to promote health care. To fulfill this objective, we adopted as a theoretical framework the ideas of Mikhail Bakhtin and his Circle, especially those in Marxism and Philosophy of Language (2021). In order to organize the theoretical framework, in the first chapter, we discuss Language and Health, in which the investigation turns to the question of cure, its etymology, models of care-health-disease, the problem of popular education in Paulo Freire and Politics National Association of Integrative and Complementary Practices in the SUS. In the second chapter, we reflect on language and the context of life, from four angles: cultural pragmatics in matters of social relevance in health, the dialogical approach of the Bakhtinian Circle, the narrative discursive genre, based on autobiography, and the binomial Theme and Meaning. The methodology of investigation of written and oral autobiographical narratives allowed the theoretical discussion about the ideological sign of the word cure, imprinted in these narratives, regarding its process of meaning and thematization. Through the recurrence of the ideological sign “cure”, we identified that the meanings of the word dialogue with the meaning of care and restoration. We selected six meanings, which are often linked to the redefinition of the word in the statements of the autobiographies of popular educators who work with integrative and complementary practices. The selected senses refer to healing as: well-being; unconditional love; self-recognition; connection with nature; hands-on energy transfer experience; touch. The healing marks that are repeated in similar statements reinforce the dictionary meaning of healing as restoring health, however, they are thematized within a therapeutic context in which restoring health is healing the body and mind, a meaning that is only apprehended when we can understand the realization (VOLÓCHINOV, 2021) of the utterance (theme). On the border between theme and meaning, the enunciative marks of healing, in use, tell us that healing only makes sense if there is connection, well-being, if the touch opens the heart to the flow of the unconditional, if it makes the being vibrate. The originality of this doctoral research was the elaboration of the concept of dialogical therapy of the healing senses to be developed by the touch of later works in the dialogue with manifestations of the interaction between popular education in health and language studies.
