Representação sobre os sindicatos no discurso político neoliberal: uma análise de discurso crítica

Resumo:
A presente pesquisa objetiva analisar as representações discursivas sobre os sindicatos a partir de uma perspectiva discursiva neoliberal. Para dar conta deste objetivo, adotou-se como principal apoio teórico a Análise de Discurso Crítica (ADC) de Norman Fairclough ([1992] 2016, 1999, 2004). Também serviram como suporte teórico, Anderson (1996), Antunes (1998) Harvey (2008), Fiorin (2011), Laidler (2018), Pinheiro (2019), Ramalho e Resende (2006, 2011) e Silva (2007), além de outros. Assim, deu-se início a uma análise qualitativa interpretativa de cunho crítico explanatório de 4 artigos de opinião retirados do portal do Instituto Mises Brasil (IMB), que serviram como corpus da pesquisa e pelos quais se perseguiu os seguintes objetivos específicos: 1) Identificar as pressuposições construídas no discurso neoliberal para representar os sindicatos; 2) analisar de que forma a intertextualidade opera para uma representação discursiva negativa sobre os sindicatos e 3) refletir sobre como tais representações podem afetar a capacidade de mobilização dos sindicatos. Feita a análise, foi possível observar que diferentes tipos de pressuposição possuem papéis distintos no processão de representação dos sindicatos, de modo que as do tipo existencial dão base aos argumentos, as proposicionais qualificam os sindicatos e as de valor apontam para a solução ideal. Já a intertextualidade pode atuar na validação dos argumentos, quando introduz no texto uma citação direta ou indireta de um determinado autor da área em questão, como também na divulgação da ideologia neoliberal a fim de estabelece-la como hegemônica, por exemplo através de hyperlinks. Por fim, pôde-se observar nos textos a defesa do enfraquecimento ou do fim dos sindicatos e portanto, tais textos fazem parte de um processo maior que resulta na atual conjectura de baixa mobilização dos trabalhadores sob a organização dos sindicatos.
Abstract:
The present research aims to analyze the discursive representations about unions from a neoliberal discursive perspective. To achieve this objective, Norman Fairclough's Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) ([1992] 2016, 1999, 2004) was adopted as the main theoretical support. Anderson (1996), Antunes (1998) Harvey (2008), Fiorin (2011), Laidler (2018), Pinheiro (2019), Ramalho and Resende (2006, 2011) and Silva (2007) also served as theoretical support, among others. Thus, an interpretative qualitative analysis with a critical explanatory nature was started on 4 opinion articles taken from the website of the Instituto Mises Brasil (IMB), which served as the research corpus and for which the following specific objectives were pursued: 1) To identify the assumptions built into the neoliberal discourse to represent unions; 2) to analyze how intertextuality operates for a negative discursive representation about unions and 3) to reflect on how such representations can affect the ability of unions to mobilize. After the analysis, it was possible to observe that different types of presuppositions have different roles in the process of representing unions, so that those of the existential type support the arguments, the propositional ones qualify the unions and those of value point to a ideal solution. Intertextuality may act in the validation of arguments, when it introduces in the text a direct or indirect quotation of a certain author of the area in question, as well as in the dissemination of neoliberal ideology in order to establish it as hegemonic, for example through hyperlinks. Finally, it was possible to observe in the texts the defense of the weakening or the end of the unions and therefore, these texts are part of a larger process which results in the current conjecture of low mobilization of workers under the organization of the unions.
