Representações linguístico-discursivas de mulheres trans sobre a transexualidade no voleibol em Fortaleza - Ceará

A trajetória das mulheres transexuais é marcada por dúvidas, inseguranças, invisibilidade e marginalização em diversos contextos. O desporto é um desses espaços sociais que é marcado pela cisgeneridade e pela binaridade sexual: macho/fêmea. Assim, as pessoas trans nesse contexto são apresentadas como anormais, desviantes e abjetas (BUTLER, 2003), porque rompem/tensionam a ordem binária (naipes masculino e feminino) do sistema desportivo (GOELLNER; ANJOS; 2017). Neste e em qualquer outro contexto, o discurso constrói o papel social desse grupo e constrói um lugar para estes sujeitos, o local das mulheres trans. Assim, dentro do paradigma da Linguística Aplicada indisciplinar (MOITA LOPES, 2006), esta pesquisa tem como objetivo geral investigar a representação de mulheres trans sobre a transexualidade feminina nas práticas desportivas de voleibol em Fortaleza – Ceará à luz da Linguística Sistêmico-Funcional (HALLIDAY; MATTHIESSEN, 2014) e da Teoria de Representação de Atores Sociais (VAN LEEUWEN, 2008) usadas como pressupostos teórico-metodológicos. Como base metodológica para gerar e coletar dados, utilizei a etnografia online (ANDROUTSOPOULOS, 2008) através de questionários de sondagem de perfil e entrevistas semiestruturadas. Tomei como corpus desta pesquisa o conjunto de trechos de textos, produzidos na entrevista, em que o objeto de representação (a transexualidade feminina) fosse mencionado. A análise dos dados indicam que i) a experiência transexual está relacionada, na voz das participantes, ao mundo mental do ‘sentir’; ii) a experiência com o esporte está relacionada ao mundo do ‘fazer’ algo, evidenciando as participantes como Atrizes destes processos e dando destaque à Rede CUCA e ao projeto Super Girls; iii) as participantes utilizaram processos relacionais para caracterizar as suas experiências como atletas trans; iv) as participantes utilizaram, com maior frequência, assimilações e classificações para se autorrepresentarem como participantes ativas no contexto desportivo. Isso indica que elas assumem o papel de liderança no que diz respeito a situações de acesso a treinos e práticas de voleibol no estado. Dessa forma, fica claro que para as participantes ocuparem o contexto esportivo cearense é necessário muito esforço e resistência do grupo. Os processos, as participantes e as circunstâncias do contexto de situação estudado evidenciam a (re)produção de estigmas e de exclusão esportiva e, consequentemente, social que são oriundas de práticas histórica e culturalmente situadas. A representação que circula no contexto esportivo de que mulheres trans possuem vantagem morfológica, biológica e de força em relação às mulheres cisgêneras naturalizam as relações desiguais e de tratamento no contexto do voleibol feminino do estado do Ceará.
Abstract:
The trajectory of transsexual women is marked by doubts, insecurities, invisibility and marginalization in different contexts. Sport is one of those social spaces that is marked by cisgenerity and sexual binarity: male / female. Thus, trans people in this context are presented as abnormal, deviant and abject (BUTLER, 2003), because they break / tension the binary order (male and female suits) of the sports system (GOELLNER; ANJOS; 2017). In this and any other context, discourse builds the social role of this group and builds a place for these subjects, the place of trans women. Thus, within the paradigm of indisciplinary Applied Linguistics (MOITA LOPES, 2006), this research has the general objective of investigating the representation of trans women about female transsexuality in volleyball sports practices in Fortaleza - Ceará in the light of Systemic-Functional Linguistics (HALLIDAY; MATTHIESSEN, 2014) and the Theory of Representation of Social Actors (VAN LEEUWEN, 2008) used as the theoretical-methodological rationale. As a methodological basis for generating and collecting data, I used online ethnography (ANDROUTSOPOULOS, 2008) through profile survey questionnaires and semi-structured interviews. I used as the corpus of this research the set of excerpts of texts, produced in the interviews, in which the object of representation (female transsexuality) was mentioned. Data analysis indicates that i) the transsexual experience is related in the voice of the participants to the mental world of ‘feeling’; ii) the experience with the sport is related to the world of ‘doing’ something, highlighting not only the participants as Actresses of these processes, but also the CUCA Network and the Super Girls project; iii) the participants used relational processes to characterize their experiences as trans athletes; iv) the participants used more frequently assimilations and classifications to represent themselves as active participants in the sports context. This indicates that they assume the leadership role with regard to situations of access to training and volleyball practices in the state. Thus, it is clear that for the participants to occupy the Ceará sports context, a lot of effort and resistance from the group is necessary. The processes, the participants and the circumstances of the context of the situation under study show the (re) production of stigmas and of exclusion in sports and, consequently, social exclusion that come from historically and culturally situated practices. The representation that circulates in the sports context that trans women have morphological, biological and strength advantage over cisgender women naturalizes unequal relations and differentiated treatment in the context of female volleyball in the state of Ceará.
