Resumo:
No presente trabalho destacamos três vertentes da cena Nerd e Geek da cidade de Fortaleza - CE e suas territorialidades. Nerd é uma nomenclatura que, no passado, estava associado de maneira pejorativa aos jovens que se destacavam em determinadas áreas do conhecimento, mas que atualmente, devido à expansão tecnológica e cultural, passou a se tornar cool. Nesse contexto surge o Geek. O evento SANA, na cidade de Fortaleza - CE, antes um evento exclusivamente nipônico, hoje é o maior evento do Norte e Nordeste da cultura pop Nerd e Geek. Foi a partir do SANA que, ao destacar três grupos, o K-Pop, os praticantes de Jogos de Mesa e os Cosplayers, pude perceber que tais jovens não exerciam suas práticas apenas no evento SANA, mas que expandiam seus hobbies para outros locais da cidade, efetivando assim, territórios e territorialidades Nerds e Geeks através da prática e sociabilidade presentes nos encontros do K-Pop, Jogos de Mesa e Cosplay. Compreendemos que o processo de formação do território se dá a partir da cultura exercida através da territorialidade pautada na identidade coletiva do ser Nerd ou Geek de quem se reúne e delimita o espaço, assim, os membros dos encontros Nerds e Geeks, quando reproduzem sua cultura no espaço, assumem uma função de agente (ator) formador do território, através dessa característica de identidade e apropriação.
In this work we highlight three strands of the Nerd and Geek scene of Fortaleza - CE and its territorialities. Nerd is a nomenclature that in the past was pejoratively associated with young people who excelled in certain areas of knowledge, but today, due to technological and cultural expansion, have become cool. In this context comes the Geek. The SANA event in the city of Fortaleza - CE, formerly an exclusively Japanese event, today is the largest event in the North and Northeast of Nerd and Geek pop culture. It was from SANA that, by highlighting three groups, K-Pop, Tabletop Games practitioners and Cosplayers, I realized that these young people were not only practicing at the SANA event, but expanding their hobbies to other locations in the city. thus effecting Nerds and Geeks territories and territorialities through the practice and sociability present at K-Pop, Board Games and Cosplay meetings. We understand that the process of territory formation takes place from the culture exercised through territoriality based on the collective identity of the Nerd or Geek being who gathers and delimits the space, thus, the members of the Nerds and Geeks meetings, when they reproduce their culture. In space, they assume the role of territory-forming agent (actor) through this characteristic of identity and appropriation.
