Resumo:
O presente Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso teve como premissa conhecer os Perfis musicais dos estudantes da turma do 9º ano “C” da Escola Municipal de Ensino Fundamental Trajano de Medeiros, localizada no bairro Expectativa Sobral Ceará. Um dos estímulos para esta pesquisa surgiu a partir do questionamento: se há ou não educação musical para os estudantes no ensino regular ou se há educação musical apenas em outros espaços fora da escola. O intuito de irmos à procura da referida unidade escolar reforça a nossa atuação de pesquisador, pois vemos a cidade de Sobral expandir como prioridade a educação fundamental, porém, resta saber como os adolescentes e jovens contam com educação musical. O objetivo geral está centrado na identificação do aprendizado em música pelos estudantes e os meios pelos quais obtiveram seus contatos com os conhecimentos musicais; Os objetivos específicos da pesquisa são os seguintes: identificar como eles veem a música no presente; como e quais contatos obtiveram com música; se foram experiências realizadas na escola ou fora dela. O detalhamento desses objetivos é distribuído completamente no roteiro de perguntas, através do instrumental de coleta de dados. Concluiu-se que, os perfis musicais da turma estudada demonstram a realidade dos jovens que consomem música, mas também buscam conhecer, ou aspiram conhecer sobre tal conteúdo. Certamente suas narrativas até então resultaram de experiências pessoais mais fora da escola do que dentro dela. A maioria não teve acesso à aula de música; nunca teve contato com prática de instrumento; nunca estudou história da música; classifica a música apenas como letra e combinações de sons; todos são apreciadores de música e a consomem cotidianamente; a maioria opina que a música deveria sim ser uma disciplina ofertada gratuitamente na escola regular. Portanto, a escola precisa ter a música não apenas como recurso didático, mas também como educação musical, tal inciativa contribuirá para a mudança do perfil musical dos futuros jovens, tanto qualitativamente, como quantitativamente.

Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to know the musical profiles of the students of the 9th grade class "C" of the Municipal School of Trajano de Medeiros, located in the neighborhood Expectativa Sobral Ceará. One of the stimuli for this research emerged from the questioning: whether there is musical education for students in regular education or if there is musical education only in other spaces outside of school. The intention to go to the search of this school unit reinforces our researcher role, as we see the city of Sobral expand as a priority the basic education, however, it remains to know how adolescents and young people rely on musical education. The general objective is centered in the identification of the learning in music by the students and the means by which they obtained their contacts with the musical knowledge; The specific objectives of the research are as follows: to identify how they see music in the present; how and what contacts they got with music; whether they were experiments carried out at school or outside. The detailing of these objectives is distributed completely in the questionnaire, through the instruments of data collection. It was concluded that the musical profiles of the studied group demonstrate the reality of young people who consume music, but also seek to know, or aspire to know about such content. Certainly his narratives so far have resulted from personal experiences more out of school than in it. The majority had no access to the music class; never had contact with practice of instrument; never studied music history; classifies the music only as letter and combinations of sounds; all are lovers of music and consume it every day; most believe that music should rather be a discipline offered free of charge at the regular school. Therefore, the school must have music not only as a didactic resource, but also as musical education, such an initiative will contribute to the change of the musical profile of the future young people, both qualitatively and quantitatively.
