O PROJETO PROFESSOR DIRETOR DE TURMA E A PROFISSIONALIDADE DOCENTE NO CONTEXTO DA EDUCAÇÃO PROFISSIONAL

Resumo:
Nesta investigação defende-se a tese de que a flexibilização curricular das Escolas Estaduais de Educação Profissional do Ceará permitiu a inserção do Projeto Professor Diretor de Turma (PPDT) como mecanismo complementar aos componentes da base técnica, que ao ser mediado pelo Professor Diretor de Turma, transcendeu os propósitos formativos destinados aos interesses da produção e favoreceu avanços no ensino e na aprendizagem no cotidiano escolar. Esta tese foi desenvolvida a partir da Política de Educação Profissional implantada no estado do Ceará no ano de 2008. Política esta, proveniente do governo federal com abrangência nacional através do Programa Brasil Profissionalizado (PBP), que possibilitou a inserção da Educação Profissional no currículo escolar do Ensino Médio e acionou a modalidade de tempo integral. Essa mudança no estado do Ceará ocasionou a criação das Escolas Profissionais e, junto com elas, a flexibilização do currículo escolar em virtude da modalidade de tempo integral. A flexibilização curricular inseriu vários projetos em complementação à área técnica, dentre eles, o Projeto Professor Diretor de Turma. Esta tese teve como objetivo investigar o impacto do Projeto Professor Diretor de Turma nas Escolas Profissionais para a Profissionalidade Docente do Ceará. Os argumentos de sustentação da tese são ancorados na Práxis Filosófica de Vázquez (2007) e na Análise do Discurso Crítico (ADC) de Fairclough (2001). A pesquisa de natureza qualitativa foi desenvolvida por meio de um estudo de caso e contou com vasto material analítico. O corpus foi extraído do material de observação, de análise documental e de entrevistas com professores colaboradores, professoras formadoras e professores da Escola. Além das entrevistas com estes profissionais, aplicaram-se questionários com estudantes dos Cursos técnicos de Agricultura, Aquicultura, Informática e Química. Os resultados revelaram especificidades da Política de Educação Profissional do Ceará e evidenciaram a caracterização do impacto do PPDT na profissionalidade dos Professores Diretores de Turma. Dentre os elementos de impacto, destacou-se a construção do Ethos profissional dos professores pela ótica dos estudantes. Palavras-chave: Educação Profissional. Projeto Professor Diretor de Turma. Abstract:
The thesis defended in this investigation shows that the curricular flexibilization of the State Schools of Professional Education of Ceará allowed the insertion of the Teacher as a Class Director Project (PPDT) as complementary mechanism to the components of the technical base that transcended the formative purposes directed to the interest of the production when it was mediated by The Teacher as a Class Director Project and favored advancements in teaching and knowledge during the school daily life. This doctoral thesis was developed from the Professional Education Policy introduced in the state of Ceará in 2008. That is a policy created by the federal government with national range through the Professionalized Brazil Program (PBP), which made the insertion of the Professional Education in the High School curriculum and the full-time school possible. That whole change in the state of Ceará caused the creation of the Professional Schools and along with those schools it was possible to have the curricular flexibilization due to the full-time school modality. The curricular flexibilization inserted several projects as a complement to the technical area including the Teacher as a Class Director Project. This thesis aimed to investigate the impact of the Teacher as a Class Director Project at the Professional Schools for the Professional Teaching of Ceará. The support elements of this doctoral thesis are anchored at The Philosophy of Praxis by Vázquez (2007) and at the Critical Discourse Analysis (ADC) by Fairclough (2001). This qualitative research method was developed through a case study and it has had a massive analytical material. The corpus was extracted from the observation material, from documentary analysis and from interviews with collaborators teachers, teachers trainers and school teachers. Besides the interviews with those professionals, questionnaires were applied with students of the technical Courses of Agriculture, Aquaculture, Computer Science and Chemistry. The results revealed specific characteristics of the Professional Education Policy of Ceará and showed up the characterization of the impact of the PPDT in the Teacher as a Class Director professionalism. Among the elements of impact, the construction of the professional Ethos of the teachers from the students’ point of view was fully highlighted. Keywords: Professional education.
