O ENSINO EM TEMPO INTEGRAL E SUA RELAÇÃO PARA UMA POSSÍVEL MELHORIA DOS ÍNDICES EDUCACIONAIS

Resumo:
O presente trabalho investigou o ensino em tempo integral e sua relação para uma possível melhoria dos índices educacionais. Foram analisados dados estatísticos a partir de resultados de provas externas e relatos de professores de duas escolas de Ensino Médio. Uma instituição profissionalizante de tempo integral e outra que funciona de forma regular. Os professores dissertaram sobre como veem o ensino integral e seus impactos. A partir dessas analises foi demonstrado que o tempo a mais na escola torna-se fator importante e relevante na melhoria dos índices educacionais, haja vista que os resultados de provas externas demonstram uma diferença considerável entre as duas escolas, sempre apresentando a escola de tempo integral com índices de proficiência mais elevados, tanto em língua portuguesa quanto em matemática, em relação à escola regular. Os resultados também apresentaram a organização curricular como fator relevante. Em função do tempo disponível, a escola de tempo integral pode ser mais objetivada a suprir as deficiências apresentadas nos alunos. Enfim, constatamos que o tempo a mais na escola, se usado de forma eficiente, pode e deve ser ferramenta valiosa na melhoria dos índices educacionais.

Abstract:
This study investigated the teaching full time and its relation to a possible improvement in educational indicators. Statistical data were analyzed from the results of external tests and reports of teachers from two high schools. A vocational institution full-time and one that works on a regular basis. Teachers lectured on how to see the full teaching and its impacts. From these analyzes it demonstrated that time the most in school becomes important and relevant factor in improving educational levels, given that the results of external tests show a considerable difference between the two schools, always presenting the school full-time with higher levels of efficiency both in English and in mathematics, compared to regular school. The results also showed the curricular organization as a relevant factor. Depending on the time available, the full-time school may be more objectified to address the weaknesses presented in the students. Anyway, we found that the more time in school, if used effectively, can and should be valuable tool in improving educational levels.
