Resumo:
A legendagem para surdos e ensurdecidos (LSE) é recurso de acessibilidade comunicacional que beneficia as pessoas com deficiência auditiva. Consiste na tradução das falas de uma produção audiovisual em forma de texto escrito, podendo ocorrer entre duas línguas orais, entre uma língua oral e outra de sinais ou dentro da mesma língua (NAVES et al., 2016, p.16). Nas produções audiovisuais do Youtube, as transcrições de fala são feitas de forma automática, por reconhecimento de fala. O objetivo da pesquisa é apresentar uma proposta de legendagem aos vídeos na TV UFJFJ, hospedados no Youtube, à luz dos parâmetros vigentes da pesquisa em LSE. A proposta inclui os parâmetros técnicos e linguísticos de legendagem apontados pelos resultados das pesquisas descritivas e exploratórias do Grupo LEAD-UECE em LSE com surdos do Ceará e de todo o Brasil. A investigação concluiu que a não utilização dos parâmetros técnicos na confecção das legendas prejudica o entendimento da mensagem; e observou a relevância da segmentação linguística na legendagem. Abstract:
Subtitling for the deaf and hard-of-hearing (SDH) is a communicational accessibility feature that benefits the hearing impaired. It consists in the translation of the speeches of an audiovisual production in the form of written text, which may occur between two oral languages, between an oral and another language of signs or within the same language (NAVES et al., 2016, p.16). In the audiovisual productions of Youtube, the speech transcriptions are done automatically, by speech recognition. The objective of the research is to present a proposal of subtitling to videos on TV UFJFJ, hosted on Youtube, in light of the current parameters of the LSE research. The proposal includes the technical and linguistic parameters of subtitling indicated by the results of the descriptive and exploratory searches of the LEAD-UECE Group in LSE with deaf people in Ceará and throughout Brazil. The investigation concluded that the non-use of the technical parameters in the making of the subtitles prejudices the understanding of the message; and noted the relevance of linguistic segmentation in subtitling.
