Resumo:

Compreender que a Qu�mica como Ci�ncia foi sendo constitu�da e constru�da ao
longo de sua exist�ncia, a partir de quest�es sociais e hist�ricas, � imprescind�vel
para supera��o da vis�o pronta e acabada da Ci�ncia, que refor�a a ideia de
neutralidade. Partindo do exposto, suscitamos como quest�es norteadoras desta
pesquisa: a) Os cursos de forma��o de professores de Qu�mica apresentam em sua
estrutura curricular a Hist�ria da Qu�mica como disciplina obrigat�ria ou optativa? b)
Que rela��o as habilidades e compet�ncias do curso de Qu�mica apresentam com a
Hist�ria da Qu�mica presente nos Projetos Pol�ticos Pedag�gicos das Licenciaturas
em Qu�mica? e c) Como est� caracterizada em sua ementa a disciplina de Hist�ria
da Qu�mica nos Projetos Pol�ticos Pedag�gicos que norteiam a forma��o inicial de
professores de Qu�mica no Estado do Cear�? Nosso objetivo geral nesta pesquisa
foi investigar a presen�a da disciplina curricular Hist�ria da Qu�mica na forma��o
inicial de professores de Qu�mica, atrav�s da an�lise de sua estrutura��o nos
Projetos Pol�ticos Pedag�gicos das Licenciaturas em Qu�mica das Universidades
p�blicas do Estado do Cear�. Mais especificamente buscamos a) Pesquisar a
presen�a da disciplina Hist�ria da Qu�mica no curr�culo dos cursos de Licenciatura
em Qu�mica das Universidades do Estado do Cear�; b) Analisar que rela��o as
habilidades e compet�ncias do curso de Qu�mica apresentam com a Hist�ria da
Qu�mica presente nos Projetos Pol�ticos Pedag�gicos das Licenciaturas em Qu�mica
e c) Caracterizar a partir de sua ementa a disciplina da Hist�ria da Qu�mica nos
Projetos Pol�ticos Pedag�gicos que norteiam a forma��o inicial de professores de
Qu�mica. A pesquisa realizada neste trabalho teve uma predomin�ncia qualitativa,
escolhendo-se como m�todo a Pesquisa/An�lise Documental. Os PPP analisados,
como norte do fazer docente, precisam ser repensados quanto � presen�a da
disciplina Hist�ria da Qu�mica, que deve se articular com as compet�ncias e
habilidades exigidas do licenciando, sua obrigatoriedade, ementa e carga hor�ria, de
forma a proporcionar uma forma��o segura quanto a Historiografia da Qu�mica no
curr�culo dos licenciandos.

Abstract:

Understanding that Chemistry as Science has been constituted and built throughout
its existence, from social and historical issues, is essential to overcome the ready
and finished vision of Science, which reinforces the idea of neutrality. From the
above, we raise as guiding questions of this research: a) Do the courses of training of
chemistry teachers present in their curricular structure the History of Chemistry as a
compulsory or optional discipline? b) What relation do the skills and competences of
the Chemistry course present with the History of Chemistry present in the Political
Educational Projects of the Chemistry Degrees? and c) How is the discipline of
History of Chemistry characterized in the Pedagogical Political Projects that guide the
initial training of Chemistry teachers in the State of Cear�? Our general objective in
this research was to investigate the presence of the curricular discipline History of
Chemistry in the initial formation of chemistry teachers, through the analysis of its
structure in the Pedagogical Political Projects of the Chemistry Degrees of the Public
Universities of the State of Cear�. More specifically we seek a) To search the
presence of the discipline History of Chemistry in the curriculum of the courses of
Degree in Chemistry of the Universities of the State of Cear�; b) Analyze what
relationship the skills and competences of the Chemistry course present with the
History of Chemistry present in the Political Projects Pedagogical Degree in
Chemistry and c) Characterize from its menu the discipline of the History of
Chemistry in the Political Projects Pedagogues that guide the formation of chemistry
teachers. The research carried out in this work had a qualitative predominance, being
chosen as method the Research/Documentary Analysis. The analyzed PPPs, such
as the north of the teaching profession, need to be rethought about the presence of
the discipline History of Chemistry, which must be articulated with the required skills
and abilities of the graduating, its obligatoriness, the syllabus and the workload, in
order to provide a safe training Chemistry Historiography in the curriculum of the
graduating.
