O PATRIMÔNIO CULTURAL NA CONSTRUÇÃO DE BARBALHA-CE COMO DESTINO TURÍSTICO

O estudo, como tema O Patrimônio Cultural na Construção de Barbalha-CE como Destino Turístico, investiga o município de Barbalha com um olhar sobre as edificações históricas, as manifestações da cultura popular e equipamentos turísticos do Geopark e balneários. A pesquisa utiliza o conceito da UNESCO que considera todo este patrimônio como cultural. No contexto da conurbação urbana do CRAJUBAR, Região Metropolitana do Cariri cearense, o Cariri, com atrativos turísticos de natureza, religiosos, culturais e de eventos, ainda não se configura como rota turística, em escala nacional. A frequência maior é constituída por visitantes regionais, das divisas do Estado e das romarias de Juazeiro do Norte que têm nos balneários o lazer. O problema estudado foca sobre o patrimônio cultural de Barbalha com vista a uma proposta de redirecionamento do turismo. Diante disso, elaboram-se os seguintes questionamentos: 1) Como o patrimônio cultural de Barbalha pode ser direcionado para uma proposta inovadora de turismo? 2) Dentre as potencialidades de Barbalha o que pode intensificar e fortalecer o turismo? 3) Como dinamizar o turismo nos balneários e Geopark e promover o desenvolvimento das comunidades locais? Entender o funcionamento do turismo e suas dinâmicas socioespaciais na comunidade é um tema que sugere afinidades, visto que o lugar está na história de vida da pesquisadora, além de sua formação e exercício profissional na área da arquitetura e do urbanismo. O objetivo geral desta pesquisa é analisar as potencialidades e perspectivas para desenvolvimento do turismo em Barbalha, no contexto do Cariri, à luz das preexistências do ambiente cultural.
The study, the theme Cultural Heritage in Barbalha-CE Construction as Tourist Destination, investigates the municipality of Barbalha with a look at the historic buildings, the manifestations of popular culture and tourist facilities of the Geopark and spas. The research uses the concept of UNESCO that considers all this as a cultural heritage. In the context of the urban conurbation of Crajubar, Metropolitan Region of Ceará Cariri the Cariri, with tourist attractions of nature, religious, and cultural events, still does not qualify as a leisure route, large-scale, reserving the more often regional visitors, the currency of the State and Juazeiro of pilgrimages that have in the dressing room leisure. The problem studied focuses on the cultural heritage of Barbalha in view of a proposal for a tourism redirection. Therefore, the following questions are elaborated: 1) As the cultural heritage of Barbalha can be directed to an innovative tourism offer? 2) Among the potential of Barbalha which can intensify and strengthen tourism? 3) How to boost tourism in the dressing room and Geopark and promote the development of local communities? Understand the workings of tourism and its socio-spatial dynamics in the community is a theme that suggests affinities, as the place is the life story of the researcher as well as their training and professional practice in the field of architecture and urbanism. The overall objective of this research is to analyze the potential and prospects for development of tourism in Barbalha, in the context of Cariri, in the light of the cultural environment preexistence.
