ABORDAGEM INVESTIGATIVA COM LENTES LÍQUIDAS DE FOCO AJUSTÁVEL PARA O ENSINO DE ÓPTICA

Resumo:
O presente trabalho utiliza-se da metodologia investigativa, através de uma sequência didática que destaca a participação do aluno durante o processo de ensino aprendizagem. A Sequência de Ensino Investigativa (SEI) é baseada em lentes líquidas de foco ajustável, com assuntos que relacionam tecnologia e sociedade, e implementa atividades experimentais investigativas, como Laboratório Aberto e a Demonstração Investigativa, além de trazer aulas com textos de apoio, que desperta o fazer científico e envolve a alfabetização científica nos alunos. A lente líquida de foco ajustável desenvolvida é de fácil construção e utiliza materiais acessíveis a qualquer escola. Com essa lente, é possível abordar diversos temas sobre as lentes esféricas e, também, com vários graus a serem explorados. Com os materiais construídos é possível trabalhar a natureza e a classificação das lentes esféricas, as formações de imagens, os índices de refração e suas relações com o meio de imersão, assim como a variação da distância focal e a relação com a sua curvatura, a verificação das equações matemáticas que descrevem o comportamento das lentes esféricas e aulas com várias situações-problema voltadas para a promoção do conhecimento científico. Ainda desenvolveu-se um modelo didático de olho humano, capaz de demonstrar as principais propriedades refrativas que envolvem um olho real e as suas ametropias, tudo através de simulações manipuladas por um operador, seja ele o professor ou o aluno. As manipulações dão a oportunidade de verificação do funcionamento da córnea, do cristalino, do globo ocular e da retina e suas finalidades. É possível realizar estudos interdisciplinares (com a Biologia). Com os materiais construídos e aplicados durante a SEI, buscou-se através de: registros em áudios, fotos, questionário pré e pós-teste, e relatórios escritos produzidos pelos alunos, os indícios de desenvolvimento dos conteúdos conceituais, procedimentais e atitudinais, assim como, ver indicadores de alfabetização científica. Além dessa análise qualitativa dos resultados, realizou-se o teste estatístico de Wilcoxon, por meio do tratamento quantitativo das respostas dos pré-testes e do pós-testes, para avaliar a ocorrência de ganho de aprendizagem após a aplicação da SEI. Abstract:
The present study uses the investigative methodology, through a didactic sequence that highlights the participation of the student during the process of teaching learning. The Inquiry-Based Teaching Sequence (IBTS) is based on adjustable focus liquid lenses, with subjects that relate technology and society, and implements experimental investigative activities such as Open Laboratory and Investigative Demonstration, as well as providing classes with supporting texts that awaken the scientific doing and the literacy in students. The built-in adjustable focus liquid lens is easy to build and uses materials accessible to any school. With this lens it is possible to approach several subjects on spherical lenses, and also with various degrees to be explored. With the constructed materials it is possible to work the nature and classification of the spherical lenses, the formations of images, the indices of refraction and its relations with the immersion medium, as well as the variation of the focal distance and the relation with its curvature, the verification of the mathematical equations that describe the behavior of the spherical lenses and classes with several situations-problems aimed at the promotion of scientific knowledge. A didactic model of the human eye has been developed, capable of demonstrating the main refractive properties involving a real eye and its ametropias, all through simulations manipulated by an operator, be it the teacher or the student. The manipulations give the opportunity to verify the functioning of the cornea, the lens, the eyeball and the retina and their purposes. It is possible to conduct interdisciplinary studies (with biology). With the materials constructed, and applied during the IBTS, we searched through audios, photos, pre and post-test questionnaire, and written reports produced by the students, evidence of conceptual, procedural and attitudinal content development, as well as, indicators of scientific literacy. In addition to this qualitative analysis of the results, the Wilcoxon statistical test was performed by means of the quantitative treatment of the pretest and post-test responses to evaluate the occurrence of learning gain after the application of the IBTS. .
