O SOFRIMENTO PSÍQUICO EM PROFESSORES DOS ANOS INICIAIS DO ENSINO FUNDAMENTAL DE FORTALEZA

Resumo:
O profissional docente é sujeito partícipe e integrativo do processo educacional e as exigências que estão imbricadas no exercício de sua profissão podem ocasionar situações de sofrimento psíquico. Políticas de avaliação externa, sistemas periódicos de acompanhamento e verificação da aprendizagem levaram as secretarias de educação a desenharem uma nova forma de gerir o trabalho educativo. O objetivo foi analisar o sofrimento psíquico em professores dos anos iniciais do Ensino Fundamental de Fortaleza, em duas etapas. A primeira por meio da aplicação de instrumentos de autorelato com 73 professores de sete escolas da capital Cearense. Como instrumentos foram utilizados o Self Reporting Questionnaire para verificar a percepção dos professores a sintomas de ansiedade e depressão, Escala de Vulnerabilidade ao Estresse no Trabalho e World Health Organization Quality of Life Assessment para identificar a percepção dos professores acerca de sua qualidade de vida. A segunda etapa foi realizada uma entrevista com seis professores. A análise da entrevista foi realizada utilizando-se o método dialético ancorado na Psicologia Histórico-Cultural de Vigotski. Foi possível identificar que 51% dos professores se percebem em sofrimento psíquico, com algum sintoma de ansioso-depressivo, 26% dos professores participantes percebem-se vulneráveis ao estresse no trabalho e 26% dos professores se percebe com necessidade de melhorar sua qualidade de vida. Com a análise das entrevistas, foi possível observar a percepção dos professores acerca do que sentem em relação à profissão docente e quais as ocasiões que geram sofrimento em seu trabalho. Conclui-se que a falta de apoio das famílias dos alunos, a indisciplina em sala de aula e a cobrança por resultados tem sido os principais fatores geradores de sofrimento de acordo com a percepção dos participantes da pesquisa. Entende-se que uma política de ampliação da qualidade de vida docente pode ser um caminho para a melhoria da saúde mental destes profissionais. Palavras-chave: Formação de professores. Abstract:
The teaching professional is a participant and integrating subject of the educational process and the demands that are imbricated in the exercise of his profession can cause situations of psychic suffering. External evaluation policies, periodic monitoring and learning verification systems have led education secretariats to design a new way of managing educational work. The objective was to analyze the psychological suffering in teachers of the initial years of Elementary School in Fortaleza, in two stages. The first was through the application of self-help instruments with 73 teachers from seven schools in the capital of Ceará. As instruments, the Self Reporting Questionnaire was used to verify teachers 'perception of symptoms of anxiety and depression, Workplace Stress Vulnerability Scale and World Health Organization Quality of Life Assessment to identify teachers' perceptions of their quality of life. The second step was an interview with six teachers. The analysis of the interview was carried out using the dialectical method anchored in the Historical-Cultural Psychology of Vygotsky. It was possible to identify that 51% of the teachers perceive themselves in psychic suffering, with some symptom of anxiety-depressive, 26% of the participating teachers perceive themselves vulnerable to work stress and 26% of the teachers perceive themselves with need to improve their quality of life . With the analysis of the interviews, it was possible to observe the teachers' perception about what they feel about the teaching profession and what occasions they cause suffering in their work. It is concluded that the lack of support from the families of the students, the indiscipline in the classroom and the collection by results have been the main factors generating suffering according to the perception of the participants of the research. It is understood that a policy to increase teacher quality of life can be a way to improve the mental health of these professionals. Keywords: Teacher training. Psychic Suffering.
