O CENTRO DE EVENTOS DO CEARÁ (CEC) NA POTENCIALIZAÇÃO DO TURISMO DE NEGÓCIOS

A dissertação ‘O Centro de Eventos do Ceará (CEC) na potencialização do turismo de negócios’ analisa a importância do equipamento, na atração de fluxos do segmento turismo de negócio e eventos no Ceará, bem como políticas públicas em explicação das transformações socioespaciais no território, assim como o impacto do turismo de negócios e eventos. A fim de identificar a contribuição do Centro de Eventos do Ceará (CEC) para o território e economia, estuda-se perfil do turista de negócios e eventos, com base em estudos do IPECE/CE e Secretária de Turismo do Ceará (SETUR/CE), corroborados pelos dados do Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatísticas (IBGE). A junção de fontes favorece a investigação, garantindo assim a veracidade das afirmações. A estruturação da pesquisa consiste em quatro partes: na primeira, introdução na qual se apresentam plano de redação, justificativa, problematização, questionamentos e objetivos sobre o tema. Na segunda, analisa-se a metrópole Fortaleza na contemporaneidade com ênfase na estrutura territorial, contextualização do turismo no Ceará, produção espacial e dimensional, nos últimos anos. Avalia-se ainda o estudo elaborado pelo IPECE/CE sobre os impactos socioeconômicos. Na terceira parte analisa-se a segmentação do turismo, com ênfase nos principais segmentos, sol e praia, turismo religioso e negócios e eventos. Na última, apresenta-se o Centro de Eventos do Ceará, contribuições do equipamento de dinâmica da economia cearense e avaliação do potencial turístico de eventos e negócios, aplicando-se a ferramenta Matriz de Insumos e Produtos para análises. Abstract:
The dissertation "The Center of Events of Ceara (CEC) as potential instrument for tourism business" analyses the importance of the equipment on the attraction of tourists for the business sector and events to the State of Ceará, as well as public policy serving as explanation for the social-geographical transformation in Ceara territory and the impact of the tourism business and events. Aiming the identification of the contribution of the Center of Events for Ceara's territory and economy, the business tourist's profile was analyzed from the statistics of IPECE/CE and the Tourism Board of the State of Ceará (SETUR/CE) corroborating with the Brazilian Statistics and Geography Institute's data (IBGE). To put the sources together, favors the research, ensuring veracity to the statements. The structure of the survey consists on four parts: first, the introduction which presents a writing plan, justification, the explanation of the problem, questioning and objectives of the dissertation. The second part, analyses the city of Fortaleza nowadays focusing on its territorial structure, the contextualization of the tourism of the State of Ceara, spatial and dimensional production on the past years and the IPECE/CE studies of the social impacts. On the third part, the tourism most important sectors of the State are analyzed: sun and beach; religious tourism; events and business. Finally, on the fourth and last part, the Center of Events is presented, as well as its contribution to the State's economy and an evaluation about the potential of the tourism of business and events through the application of the Matrix of Inputs and Products tool for analysis.
