MADE: SISTEMA DE GESTÃO E PLANEJAMENTO DA MATRIZ DE DESIGN EDUCACIONAL DE DISCIPLINAS A DISTÂNCIA

Resumo:
Em Educação a Distância (EaD), o planejamento para oferta das disciplinas ocorre em um momento bem anterior à execução do curso, através da ação colaborativa dos atores envolvidos. Essa ação de planejar e executar envolve desde a coordenação do curso responsável pela lotação dos professores, passando pela equipe de Design Educacional, equipe web, chegando até aos professores tutores responsáveis por conduzir a disciplina junto aos alunos. A Diretoria de Educação a Distância do IFCE, espaço desta pesquisa, adota como modelo para o planejamento das disciplinas dos seus cursos a distância, o documento da Matriz de Design Educacional. Este documento se utiliza de um editor de texto, o que implica em tempo com upload e download de arquivos e uma limitação no controle de produção das matrizes. Como há quantidade significativa de disciplinas ofertadas semestralmente, o volume de documentos produzidos e profissionais envolvidos também é numeroso, o que torna o processo de gestão da produção da matriz uma tarefa complexa. Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo principal desenvolver um sistema de gestão e planejamento da Matriz de Design Educacional, além de discutir a gestão e planejamento dos cursos e disciplinas em EaD; apresentar as teorias do Design Instrucional e da Engenharia Pedagógica como proposta pedagógica de construção da matriz; e descrever as etapas de construção do sistema. Os principais conceitos abordados na pesquisa envolvem os tópicos: modelos pedagógicos de Behar (2009); conceitos de gestão em EaD de Mill e Brito (2009); Design instrucional de Romiszowski (2005) e Filatro (2003;2008) e da Engenharia pedagógica de Paquette (2002, 2004). Para o desenvolvimento do sistema foram realizadas reuniões periódicas com a equipe de desenvolvimento para delimitação dos requisitos do sistema, cronograma e responsáveis pelas atividades. O sistema Made encontra-se em fase de teste e como se trata de um sistema em evolução muitas informações podem ser agregadas ao seu escopo, em especial, à medida que os usuários iniciarem seu uso. Sua aplicação, como ferramenta de apoio a elaboração e planejamento da Matriz de Design Educacional das disciplinas a distância, possibilitará a seus atores sistematizar seus processos, gerenciar seus trabalhos e organizar o fluxo de mensagens. Além de permitir a seus usuários a localização rápida e fácil das informações desejadas contribuindo para solucionar possíveis entraves comunicacionais e de perda de dados.

Abstract:
In Distance Education ( DE ) ,the courses planning must occurs much before their implementation by the means of highly collaborative actions of the involved actors .The planning and execution actions involve several people that vary from the course coordinator, which is responsible for the instructors selection, the tutors responsible for conducting the courses, to the staff of an entire educational web design team. The Distance Education Department of the IFCE, where this research was conducted, adopts a planning model based on a document called Educational Design Matrix (MADE). Traditionally, this document is edited in a text editor and uploaded to a server, which implies in some delays and limits the documents production efficiency. Along to the growing number of offered courses, the volume of documents produced and professionals involved becomes difficult to manage, which makes very complex the process of the MADE production management. This research aims to develop a management and planning system for the MADE construction, and, at the same time, having a discussion about the management and planning of courses and subjects in distance education systems. Present theories of Instructional design and Educational Engineering as a pedagogical proposal of the matrix construction are also discussed along the description of the stages of the proposed system construction. The main concepts covered in this research involve topics such as the pedagogical models of Behar (2009 ), the DL management concepts in Mill and Brito (2009 ), the Instructional design of Romiszowski (2005) and Filatro (2003,2008), and the Pedagogical Engineering of Paquette (2002 , 2004). To develop the MADE system, they were held regular meetings with a development team to define the system requirements, work division, and to assign the responsible for each activity. The system is under tests, and as it evolves, a lot of information can be captured from its usage. Its application as a support tool for the preparation and planning of the MADE, allows his actors to systematize their processes, manage their work and organize the flow of messages.
