DESENVOLVIMENTO DE UMA ESCALA PARA AVALIAÇÃO DA VITIMIZAÇÃO PSICOLÓGICA NO ENSINO SUPERIOR

A violência psicológica, presente no Ensino Superior, tem sido pouco estudada, não havendo instrumentos brasileiros com evidências de validade e de precisão para avaliar a sua ocorrência. Nesse sentido, o presente trabalho teve o objetivo de desenvolver e de analisar as qualidades psicométricas de uma escala de vitimização da violência psicológica, em duas versões: uma para alunos e outra para professores. Para tanto, o estudo foi dividido em três etapas. Etapa 1: construção dos itens da Escala de Vitimização Psicológica no Ensino Superior (EVPES) - Versão Alunos, análise de conteúdo por cinco juízes e análise semântica por 26 representantes do público-alvo. Etapa 2: construção dos itens da EVPES - Versão Professores, análise de conteúdo por cinco juízes e análise semântica por nove representantes do público-alvo. Etapa 3: aplicação da escala em 215 alunos e análise fatorial dos itens do instrumento versão alunos. Nas etapas 1 e 2, a EVPES versão alunos e versão professores, de uma maneira geral, foi bem avaliada pelos juízes, recebendo uma concordância de 80% até 100% nos itens. Na análise semântica, os grupos focais também avaliaram satisfatoriamente a EVPES, porém sugeriram mudanças na forma de apresentação da escala e em alguns itens para se tornarem mais claros e indicaram o acréscimo de novas questões. Na Etapa 3, por meio do software estatístico SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences), analisou-se os itens de violência psicológica entre alunos: KMO = 0.853, X² (91) =1442.898, p<0.001 e α = 0.895 e os itens de violência psicológica de professores para com alunos: KMO = 0.87, X ² (45) = 807.199, p<0.001 e α= 0.848. Portanto, a EVPES, a partir dos pressupostos dessa pesquisa, apresentou os preceitos requeridos, porém são necessários estudos futuros de outras propriedades psicométricas. Palavras-chave: Violência. Abstract:
Psychological violence in higher education has been little studied. Besides, there are no Brazilian instruments with reliability and accuracy evidence assessing its occurrence. In this sense, the present study aimed to develop and analyze the psychometric properties of a victimization scale of psychological violence, in two versions: one for students and another for teachers. Therefore, the study was divided into three stages. Stage 1: construction of the items of the Psychological Victimization Scale in Higher Education (EVPES) – Student Version, content analysis by five raters and semantic analysis by 26 representatives of the target audience. Stage 2: construction of the items of the EVPES – Teacher Version, content analysis by five raters and semantic analysis by nine representatives of the target audience. Stage 3: Scale administration to 215 students and factor analysis of the items of the student version. In stages 1 and 2, EVPES student and teacher version was well evaluated by the raters, in general, getting an inter-rater agreement from 80% to 100% on items. In semantic analysis, focus groups also assessed EVPES satisfactorily but suggested changes in the scale presentation and unclear items and indicated the addition of new questions. In Stage 3, using the SPSS statistical software (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences), the items assessing psychological violence among students were analyzed: KMO = 0.853, X² (91) = 1442.898, p<0.001 and α = 0.895 as well as the items concerning teacher‟s psychological violence against students: KMO = 0.87, X ² (45) = 807,199, p<0.001 and α = 0848. Therefore, from the assumptions of this study, EVPES presented the required precepts; however, further studies of other psychometric properties are necessary. Keywords: Violence. Higher education.
