Resumo:
Observando o desenvolvimento do setor logístico nas organizações, podemos perceber a importâncias dessa área para as empresas atualmente. Desde a década de 50 a logística é um setor que vem ganhando seu espaço e se desenvolvendo, fato importante para que isso fosse possível, foi a introdução de tecnologias da informação, responsáveis por agilizar e tornar mais eficiente a gerencia do ramo. Portanto, o objetivo geral do estudo foi compreender o processo de gestão logística através do uso de um sistema de informação logística (LIS), além disso definimos como objetivos específicos, identificar as principais funcionalidades do sistema de gestão logístico e as relações entre princípios apresentados por Bowersox e as funcionalidades existentes no sistema. Para alcançarmos os objetivos, foi feito um estudo de caso com a empresa Trixlog, que trabalho com a venda um LIS focado na melhoria do desempenho da gestão de frotas. Nos utilizamos da pesquisa qualitativa e de questionários tipo survey para coletar os dados necessários. A partir dos resultados obtidos pudemos entender sobre a visão dos gestores como o sistema Trix® se relaciona com cada um dos seis princípios de um sistema de informação logística. Abstract:
Observing the development of the logistics sector in the organizations, we can see the importance of this area for companies today. Since the 1950s, logistics has been a sector that has been gaining its space and developing, an important fact for this to be possible, was the introduction of information technologies, responsible for streamlining and making management more efficient. Therefore, the general objective of the study was to understand the logistic management process through the use of a logistical information system (LIS), in addition we defined as specific objectives, to identify the main functionalities of the system logistic management and the relationships between principles presented by Bowersox and the functionalities existing in the system. To reach the objectives, a case study was made with the company Trixlog, which worked with the sale of a LIS focused on improving the performance of fleet management. We use qualitative research and survey-type questionnaires to collect the necessary data. From the results obtained we could understand about the vision of the managers how the Trix® system relates to each one of the six principles of a logistic information system. Key-words: Logistics.
