O CAMPO DA SAÚDE COLETIVA EM UM CURSO DE GRADUAÇÃO EM EDUCAÇÃO FÍSICA NO MUNICÍPIO DE FORTALEZA - CEARÁ

Nas aulas de Educação Física (EF) os aspectos relacionados à saúde devem ser constantemente fonte de debate entre os alunos escolares e universitários. A Saúde Coletiva (SC), enquanto um campo de práticas teóricas que se destina ao estudo dos processos de saúde-doença nas coletividades, a partir de um olhar ampliado de saúde pode subsidiar as práticas pedagógicas do professor de EF na escola. O objetivo do presente estudo foi analisar a inserção do campo da SC no curso de EF da Universidade Estadual do Ceará (UECE). Para tanto, realizou-se uma pesquisa descritiva com elementos da pesquisa documental e abordagem qualitativa. O estudo deteve-se ao curso de graduação em EF da UECE, onde foi analisado o Projeto Pedagógico do curso e realizou-se entrevistas com 17 docentes. Para a análise documental recorreu-se a estatística descritiva e as entrevistas por meio da análise de conteúdo temática proposta por Minayo (2014). Como resultados percebeu-se que no curso não existe nenhuma disciplina intitulada “Saúde Coletiva”. Seis disciplinas foram identificadas como relacionadas ao campo da SC, mas somente uma, optativa, de fato apresenta relações sólidas com o campo. No que se refere aos referenciais bibliográficos, somente os inseridos na disciplina optativa de “Planejamento e Políticas de Saúde” podem ser considerados como referencias relacionados à SC. Nas entrevistas percebe-se que uma parcela considerável do corpo docente do curso possui formação e produção cientifica no campo da SC, todavia apresentam conhecimento incipiente sobre SC; consideram relevante a aproximação com a SC para a atuação do professor de EF no espaço não formal; encontram-se divididos sobre a real inserção da SC no curso; não utilizam os referenciais da SC em suas disciplinas; e, sugerem alterações na estrutura curricular do curso. Conclui-se que a formação em EF ofertada pela UECE, não desenvolve adequadamente a apreensão dos conhecimentos referentes ao campo da SC. Palavras-chave: Educação física. Saúde coletiva. Formação.
Abstract:
In Physical Education (PE) classes, health-related aspects should be a constant source of debate among high school and college students. Collective Health (CH), while a field of theoretical practices that is aimed at the study of health-disease processes in collectivities, from an expanded view of health could subsidize the pedagogical practices of the PE teacher in the school. The objective of the present study was to analyze the insertion of the CH field in the PE course of the University of Ceará State (UECE). For that, a descriptive research was done with documentary research elements and a qualitative approach. The study focused on the undergraduate course at PE of the UECE, where the Pedagogical Project of the course was analyzed and interviews were carried out with 17 teachers. For the documentary analysis we used the descriptive statistics and the interviews through the thematic content analysis proposed by Minayo (2014). As results it was noticed that in the course there is no discipline entitled "Collective Health". Six disciplines have been identified as related to the SC field, but only one, optional, does in fact present strong relationships with the field. Regarding bibliographic references, only those included in the optional "Health Planning and Policies" discipline can be considered as references related to CH. In the interviews it is noticed that a considerable part of the faculty of the course has training and scientific production in the CH field, however they present incipient knowledge about ; consider relevant the approximation with CH for the role of PE teacher in the non-formal space; they are divided on the actual insertion of CH in the course; do not use the CH frameworks in their disciplines; and, suggest changes in the curricular structure of the course. It is concluded that the PE training provided by the UECE, does not adequately offer the apprehension of the knowledge offered by the CH field. Keywords: Physical education. Collective health.
