Esta monografia tem como finalidade a compreensão da particularidade das atribuições do assistente social na 10ª Região Militar do Exército Brasileiro através das atividades realizadas pela Seção do Serviço de Assistência Social (SSAS) da 10ª Região Militar. Iniciamos o trabalho com a aproximação ao campo da pesquisa e com os sujeitos, buscando elencar as atribuições privativas do Serviço Social nessa seção, e compreender os desafios e limites do assistente social na realização das suas atividades. Justifica-se pelo interesse de melhor compreendermos a atuação do assistente social no âmbito militar, uma vez que as Forças Armadas têm se revelado como um espaço sócio ocupacional do assistente social que revela contradições. No processo investigativo percebemos a existência de uma carência de produções do conhecimento nesse campo de atuação profissional, que dificulta a abordagem da pesquisa nesse âmbito. O estudo exploratório é oriundo de pesquisas bibliográficas e documentais e da observação para análise da interpretação do objeto estudado. Foi adotado como instrumento de coleta de dados roteiro de entrevista semiestruturado com perguntas abertas e fechadas no período de outubro a novembro de 2017. Vale ressaltar que na construção do percurso metodológico, nós utilizamos de embasamento teórico de autores como Yolanda Guerra (2010), Martinelli (1999), Vergara (2015), José Paulo Netto (2006), Minayo (2010), Almeida (2004), entre outros. Já Foucault (1987), Celso Castro e Piero Leiner (1997) nos deram embasamento para compreender como se constrói a identidade militar, entender o panoptismo, corpo dócil, hierarquia e disciplina. Neste panorama, o presente trabalho vem para somar aos outros poucos estudos de mesma natureza e campo. O Exército, bem como a Marinha e aeronáutica possuem em seus princípios básicos a hierarquia e disciplina, o que dificulta a consolidação do projeto profissional, devido à oposição das normas e princípios éticos da profissão. Abstract:
This monograph aims to understand the particularity of the duties of the social worker in the 10th Military Region of the Brazilian Army through the activities carried out by the Section of the Social Welfare Service (SSAS) of the 10th Military Region. We began the work with the approach to the field of research and with the subjects, seeking to establish the exclusive attributions of Social Work in this section, and to understand the challenges and limits of the social worker in the accomplishment of their activities. It is justified by the interest of better understanding the social worker's role in the military sphere, since the Armed Forces have proved to be an occupational social space of the social worker that reveals contradictions. In the investigative process we perceive the existence of a lack of knowledge production in this field of professional performance, which makes it difficult to approach research in this field. The exploratory study is based on bibliographical and documentary research and observation for the analysis of the interpretation of the studied object. It was adopted as a data collection instrument the questionnaire with open and closed questions from October to November 2017. It is worth mentioning that in the construction of the methodological path, we use the theoretical basis of authors such as Yolanda Guerra (2010), Martinelli (1999) ), Vergara (2015), José Paulo Netto (2006), Minayo (2010), Almeida (2004), among others. Already Foucault (1987), Celso Castro and Piero Leiner (1997) gave us grounding to understand how military identity is constructed, to understand Panoptism, docile body, hierarchy and discipline. In this panorama, the present work comes to add to the other few studies of the same nature and field. Keywords: Social Service. Army. Social Worker. Armed forces. Hierarchy.
