The changes in the economic scenario have demanded that the health services offer good results with little contribution of resources, the hospital must be an integrated system, which allows a greater interaction among the teams to  strengthen  decision-making.  The  health units coexist with high levels of occupancy, whose main challenge is to manage the growing demand by investing in technologies that improve the quality of  service respecting the right  of access of the user. The study aimed to implement a bedside management technology in a tertiary teaching maternity hospital. In order to do so, it carried out  a  methodological  research with quantitative and qualitative data from the instrument of adaptation of bed management technology using Kanban methodology by the professionals of the Internal Nucleus of Regulation (NIR), composed of four attributes distributed in 21 indicators / assertive considering the objectives, structure and presentation, appearance and relevance of the proposed technology. The research was carried out in three phases. In the first phase, we analyzed 06 hospital indicators that influence the regulation of the access of patients to the obstetric and neonatal beds, highlighting the reduction in the number of beds in  the city  in  the last four years and the  importance of  the  maternity in  study for  local health network.  The second phase analyzed the responses of  the data  collection instruments, consolidating the suggestions that will be adapted for implantation of the technology in the hospital environment, making it necessary to include twenty fields for better use of the tool by the teams, promoting the optimization in the supply of beds and  the  reduction of  the average  stay time of inpatients in the institution. The third phase  analyzed the subjective data considering the perceptions, suggestions, criticisms and evaluations of the positive and negative points presented, 100% of the professionals evaluated the technology as an 'excellent instrument for bed organization and patient flow because it stimulates the commitment and shared autonomy of the team for decision making related to the process of hospitalization and discharge '. It is concluded that the implementation of  new technologies for bedside management in the hospital environment is  an  important  management  support for integrating teamwork since it improves internal communication by allowing information sharing among professionals, co-responsible and favors the improvement of bed visibility, streamline initial treatment, incorporate patient discharge logistics, and decrease  hospital costs with prolonged hospitalizations by properly regulating the institution's hospital beds.
