DESENVOLVIMENTO DE CARTILHA EDUCATIVA PARA PROMOÇÃO DA ADESÃO E DO AUTOGERENCIAMENTO DO TRATAMENTO EM ADOLESCENTES COM HIV/AIDS

A adesão ao tratamento em seu conceito mais amplo se destaca entre os maiores desafios da atenção a adolescentes que vivem com HIV, visto que, as especificidades desta faixa etária, aliada a falhas quanto ao conhecimento dos mesmos referentes ao HIV, ao comprometimento da autoestima e à escassa comunicação sobre HIV/AIDS no âmbito familiar repercutem negativamente na adesão ao tratamento. Partindo disso, objetivou-se desenvolver uma cartilha educativa direcionada a essa população, que busque aumentar a capacidade destes adolescentes ao empoderamento de seu cuidado, o estímulo à autonomia, favorecendo a adesão. Trata-se de um estudo metodológico firmado nos objetivos adaptados de Echer (2005). A cartilha educativa intitulada “Cartilha do Adolescente - Cuidando de si” foi desenvolvida em três etapas. Na primeira etapa, objetivando conhecer as demandas do público-alvo, realizaram-se, como estratégia educativa, três trabalhos em grupo na forma de oficina. Na sequência, realizou-se um levantamento bibliográfico acerca dos cuidados voltados para o público-alvo, no qual foram selecionadas treze publicações do Ministério da Saúde do Brasil, bem como de outras relacionadas ao tema. A segunda etapa consistiu na elaboração textual da cartilha, na qual se seguiu as recomendações de Doak, Doak e Root (1996), sendo dividida em onze domínios. A terceira etapa constou na validação do material junto a 23 juízes especialistas, sendo eles: onze de conteúdo, sete técnicos assistenciais, cinco da área de design/marketing e dez representantes do público-alvo, destes, três participaram da análise semântica do material, e sete, da validação final. A primeira versão da cartilha foi composta de 22 páginas, e a versão final foi concluída com 27 páginas. O projeto foi aprovado pelo Comitê de Ética e Pesquisa Hospital São José (HSJ) sob o Parecer nº 1.874.590. Na análise estatística, o Índice de Validade de Conteúdo (IVC) global da tecnologia educativa foi de 95% entre juízes de conteúdo e juízes técnicos. Entre os especialistas de design e marketing, a tecnologia educativa foi considerada como material superior, 94,61%. Entre o público-alvo, alcançou 100% como nível de concordância entre os adolescentes. Desse modo, a cartilha educativa constitui material válido e confiável que pode ser utilizado como ferramenta na educação em saúde e servir como fonte de guia para os adolescentes que vivem com HIV/AIDS, promovendo a adesão e o autogerenciamento do tratamento. Abstract:
The adhesion to treatment in its broader concept stands out among the greatest challenges of attention to adolescents living with HIV, since the specificities of this age group, allied to failures regarding to their knowledge about HIV, the commitment to self-esteem and to the limited communication about HIV/AIDS in the family scope have a negative impact on adhesion to treatment. Based on this, the objective was to develop an educational booklet aimed at this population, which seeks to increase the capacity of these adolescents to empower their care, the stimulus to autonomy, favoring the adhesion. This is a methodological study based on the adapted objectives of Echer (2005). The educational booklet titled "Teenager's Handbook - Caring for Yourself" was developed in three stages. In the first stage, with the objective to know the demands of the target audience, three group work in the form of a workshop were carried out as an educational strategy. Subsequently, a bibliographic survey was carried out on the care directed to the target audience, in which were selected thirteen publications of the Ministry of Health of Brazil, as well as other publications related to the topic. The second stage consisted in the textual elaboration of the booklet, which followed the recommendations of Doak, Doak and Root (1996), being divided into eleven domains. The third stage consisted of the validation of the material with 23 expert judges: eleven of content, seven of technical assistants, five from the design/marketing area and ten representatives from the target audience, of which, three participated in the semantic analysis of the material, and seven, of the final validation. The first version of the booklet was composed of 22 pages, and the final version was completed with 27 pages. The project was approved by the São José Hospital Ethics and Research Committee (HSJ) under Opinion No. 1,874,590. In the statistical analysis, the overall Content Validity Index (IVC) of educational technology was 95% between content judges and technical judges. Among design and marketing specialists, the educational technology was considered as superior material, 94.61%. Among the target audience, it reached 100% as a level of agreement among adolescents. In this way, the educational booklet constitutes valid and reliable material that can be used as a tool in health education and serve as a guide font for adolescents living with HIV/AIDS, promoting the adhesion and self-management of treatment.
