EFEITOS NA ARRECADAÇÃO DO ICMS NA REDE HOTELEIRA EM RAZÃO DA
OCORRÊNCIA DAS FÉRIAS, DAS FESTAS NATALINAS E DO RÉVEILLON NA CIDADE DE FORTALEZA, NO MÊS DE DEZEMBRO

Resumo:
Esta pesquisa avalia a arrecadação do ICMS do seguimento de hotelaria, da cidade de Fortaleza, no mês de dezembro, no período compreendido entre 2000 e 2016, face às férias escolares, os festejos natalinos e o réveillon; para atestar se estes eventos são vetores indutores do turismo receptivo para a cidade de Fortaleza. Utilizou-se o método lógico dedutivo de Popper para asseverar a criticabilidade e a falseabilidade e estabelecer um caráter científico, a partir das variáveis demanda turística (independente) e ICMS (dependente), tem-se uma correlação linear estimada em 0,6107 positiva, que demonstra um crescimento conjunto dessas variáveis nos anos da série histórica. Também pelo valor do coeficiente de determinação, R² = 0,5248, modelaram-se potencialmente os números, ou seja, a demanda hoteleira é responsável por 52,48% da arrecadação do ICMS. Para validação, fez-se o teste “t-student”, que rejeitou a hipótese nula, haja vista que Tc > Tt, consequentemente, a estimação é estatisticamente significativa. Além disso, projetaram-se os pernoites e a arrecadação do ICMS para dezembro e janeiro, respectivamente, dos anos de 2017 e 2018, e finalmente no experimento empreendido, concluiu-se que as festas natalinas, juntamente com outros fatores, contribuem para o aumento da demanda dos hotéis e, consequentemente, para o crescimento da arrecadação do ICMS. Abstract:
This research evaluate the revenue of ICMS by Hotels, in Fortaleza City, in December, on period between 2000 and 2016, in view of school vacations, Christmas and New Year holidays; to test if these events are vectors that induce the receptive tourism to the city of Fortaleza. It was used the deductive logic method of Popper to emphasize the criticism and falsifiability to establish a scientific feature, using the variables of touristic demand (independent) and ICMS (dependent), It returned a linear correlation estimated in 0,6107 positive, that demonstrates one joint growth of those variables in the years of historic series. As well by the value of determination coefficient, R² = 0,5248, it was modeled potentially the numbers, in other words, the hotel demand is responsible of 52,48% regarding the collection of ICMS. For valuation, It was made the “t-student” test, that rejected the null hypothesis, taking into Tc>Tt, consequently, the estimation is statistically significant. Besides that, It was projected the overnight stay and the revenue of ICMS, to December and January of 2017 and 2018, and finally on the experiment undertaken, concludes that the Christmas holidays, jointly with other factors contributes to increase the hotel demand and pursuant to an increase of ICMS revenue.
