APLICAÇÃO DE FERRAMENTAS PROMOTORAS DE CONSCIENTIZAÇÃO E EDUCAÇÃO AMBIENTAL NO ÂMBITO ESCOLAR

Resumo:
O tema educação ambiental e o reaproveitamento de materiais está sendo bastante ampliado nas escolas por ser notória a importância desse assunto para o nosso planeta. O acúmulo de resíduos sólidos tem gerado grandes impactos ambientais, para minimizar essa situação são necessárias ferramentas que visam novas atitudes ambientais. Por isso, é relevante o papel da escola nessa mudança de atitude, principalmente, visando a reciclagem dos resíduos sólidos produzidos no âmbito escolar para a confecção de objetos úteis no dia a dia. O objetivo desse estudo foi de analisar a importância da educação ambiental no âmbito escolar, incentivando a reutilização de resíduos sólidos. Foi realizado um estudo descritivo, de corte transversal com abordagem quantitativa, desenvolvido em Fortaleza – CE, na escola Organização Educacional Progressivo com 91 alunos do ensino fundamental (6º ao 9º ano). Os alunos assistiram a uma aula expositiva sobre conceitos básicos de educação ambiental, em seguida, foi aplicado o questionário 01 com os alunos do 6º ao 9º ano. Após isso, foi realizada uma aula expositiva sobre vários assuntos sobre o tema educação ambiental e reciclagem, seguida de uma aula prática onde os adolescentes construíram objetos utilizando o plástico e o papel e finalizando com a aplicação do questionário 02 para análise final do projeto. Com os resultados do questionário 01 foi possível verificar que 92% dos alunos preferem descartar seu resíduo sólido na lixeira e somente 7% é destinado à coleta seletiva. Sendo as turmas de 6º e 7º ano a que mais reutiliza ou reusa o material para outro destino no seu dia a dia. Com a pesquisa aplicada foi possível verificar que os alunos não tem conhecimento ou não recordam qual é o destino final do resíduo produzido. A partir do questionário 02 foi possível verificar que o plástico foi o material que acharam mais interessante para confeccionar os objetos, consideraram o trabalho realizado fácil e concluíram que a oficina foi totalmente facilitadora do entendimento do assunto abordado. Com isso foi possível observar a importância de se inserir e ampliar esse tipo de projeto com a temática educação ambiental e preservação do meio ambiente no ensino básico. Abstract:
The theme environmental education and the reuse of materials is being greatly expanded in schools because it is notorious the importance of this subject for our planet. The accumulation of solid waste has generated large environmental impacts, to minimize this situation, tools are needed that aim at new environmental attitudes. Therefore, the role of the school in this change of attitude is relevant, mainly, aiming at the recycling of the solid waste produced in the school environment for the making of useful objects in the day to day. The objective of this study was to analyze the importance of environmental education in the school environment, encouraging the reuse of solid waste. A descriptive, cross - sectional study with a quantitative approach was carried out in Fortaleza - CE, at the Progressive Educational Organization school with 91 elementary students (6th to 9th grade). The students attended an expositive lecture about basic concepts of environmental education, then the questionnaire 01 was applied with the students from the 6th to the 9th grade. After that, an expositive lecture was held on various subjects on environmental education and recycling, followed by a practical class where the adolescents constructed objects using plastic and paper and ending with the application of questionnaire 02 for final analysis of the project. With the results of the questionnaire 01, it was possible to verify that 92% of the students prefer to discard their solid waste in the bin and only 7% is destined to the selective collection. The 6th and 7th grade classes are the ones that reuse or reuse the material for another destination in their daily lives. With the applied research it was possible to verify that the students are not aware or do not remember the final destination of the waste produced. From questionnaire 02 it was possible to verify that plastic was the material that found the most interesting to make the objects, considered the work performed easy and concluded that the workshop was totally facilitating the understanding of the subject addressed. With this, it was possible to observe the importance of inserting and expanding this type of project with the theme environmental education and preservation of the environment in basic education.
