FATORES MOTIVACIONAIS: UM ESTUDO COM OS ALUNOS CONCURSEIROS DO CURSO DE ADMINISTRAÇÃO

Resumo:
Este artigo trata-se de uma pesquisa de campo com os alunos concurseiros do curso de administração, visando identificar quais os fatores motivacionais que influenciam os concurseiros a estudarem buscando ser aprovados nos concursos públicos. Participaram deste estudo 130 alunos dos turnos manha e noite do 6º ao 8 º semestre, no total de 300 alunos matriculados nesses mesmos semestres do curso. O instrumento para coletar dados foi um questionário com questões fechadas de múltipla escolha contendo características sociodemográficas, características relativas às teorias motivacionais do referencial teórico e aos fatores motivacionais. Os principais resultados confirmam a teoria de Maslow, ao relacionar com o topo da pirâmide, que representa o sentimento de autorrealização, que nunca é satisfeito, pois mais da metade concordou que nunca se sentiram totalmente satisfeitos em relação à autorrealização nas profissões as quais exercem, buscando assim alcançar novos objetivos. Em relação à ideia da teoria das expectativas de Vroom, de que o individuo é motivado pelas expectativas de ganhos, os resultados confirmam que as expectativas em relação aos ganhos a serem obtidos com o objetivo fim, são fatores motivacionais para estudar cada vez mais. A teoria da equidade que baseia-se na ideia de comparação social, ou seja o individuo compara os resultado de seus ganhos com o s resultados alheios é confirmada como fator motivacional pela maioria dos respondentes, que afirmam que ao verem pessoas próximas conquistando a sonhada aprovação, eles também se motivam a buscar a sua própria aprovação. Enfim constatou-se que os fatores motivacionais que influenciam os concurseiros são a estabilidade financeira, oportunidade de trabalhar em um bom ambiente de trabalho através de um bom relacionamento com o chefe e um bom clima organizacional, qualidade de vida aos filhos e a família, disponibilidade para a família, melhor educação para os filhos, a saúde, viagens, empreendedorismo e o status social. Abstract:
This article is about a field research with the concurrent students of the administration course, aiming at identifying which motivational factors influence the candidates to study seeking to be approved in public competitions. 130 students from the morning and evening shifts from the 6th to the 8th semester participated in this study, with a total of 300 students enrolled in these same semesters of the course. The instrument to collect data was a questionnaire with closed questions of multiple choice with sociodemographic characteristics, characteristics related to the motivational theories of the theoretical reference and motivational factors. The main results confirm Maslow's theory of relating to the top of the pyramid, which represents the sense of self-realization, which is never satisfied, with more than half agreeing that they have never felt completely satisfied with self-realization in the professions which to achieve new goals. Regarding Vroom's theory of expectation that the individual is motivated by earnings expectations, the results confirm that the expectation of the gains to be obtained from the end goal are motivational factors to study more and more. The theory of equity that is based on the idea of social comparison, that is, the individual compares the results of his earnings with the results of others is confirmed as a motivational factor by most of the respondents, who say that when they see people coming to achieve the desired approval, they are also motivated to seek their own approval. Finally, it was verified that the motivational factors that influence the competitors are the financial stability, the opportunity to work in a good working environment through a good relationship with the boss and a good organizational climate, quality of life for the children and the family, availability for the family, better education for children, health, travel, entrepreneurship and social status.
