LEGENDAGEM PARA SURDOS E ENSURDECIDOS (LSE): UMA ANÁLISE DA SEGEMENTAÇÃO LINGUÍSTICA NO GÊNERO ENTREVISTA

A segmentação linguística tem sido interesse de investigadores da área da legendagem para surdos e ensurdecidos (LSE), visto ser um fator determinante para a recepção satisfatória do produto audiovisual. Com o propósito de contribuir com esses estudos, esta pesquisa dedicou-se a relatar e classificar os problemas de segmentação, entre linhas, na (LSE), closed caption, do tipo roll-up, do programa de entrevista Conversa com Bial, exibido pela Rede Globo de Televisão, além de estabelecer um paralelo entre esta pesquisa e os resultados alcançados nas investigações do Projeto CORSEL e em estudos que abordaram a segmentação na legendagem. Para alcançar esses objetivos contou-se com o auxílio do programa de legendagem Subtitle Workshop 6.0 e do programa Wordsmith Tools 5.0, o qual contribuiu para análise dos dados qualiquantitativos. As etiquetas discursivas desenvolvidas por Chaves (2012) e aperfeiçoadas por Araújo e Assis (2014) colaboraram no processo de anotação do corpus. Os resultados revelaram 276 casos de problemas de segmentação linguística e as maiores ocorrências aconteceram sintagma nominal, perfazendo um total de 39,2%, seguido pelo sintagma verbal com 26%, com predominância em legendas de duas linhas e com velocidade alta. Esses achados foram contrários aos encontrados em Chaves (2012), Gabriel (2015) e Arraes (2015), no âmbito do Projeto CORSEL (Corpus, Segmentação e Legendagem). Palavras-chave: Corpus. Abstract:
The linguistic segmentation has been the interest of researchers in the field of deaf and hard-of-hearing subtitling (SDH), seen as a determining factor for a satisfactory reception of the audiovisual product. In order to contribute to the studies, this research is dedicated to report and classify the problems of segmentation, between the lines, (SDH), closed caption, roll-up type, in the talkshow program Conversa com Bial, on the Channel Globo on the television, in addition to establishing a parallel between this research and results obtained in the CORSEL Project surveys and in studies that address a segmentation in subtitling. To achieve these objectives, the subtitle software Subtilte Workshop 6.0 and the Wordsmith Tools 5.0 program were used, which contributed to the analysis of the qualitative data. The discursive labels developed by Chaves (2012) and improved by Araújo and Assis (2014) contributed to the corpus annotation process. The results revealed 276 cases of linguistic segmentation problems occurred in the noun phrase, making a total of (39.2%), followed by the verbal syntagma with (26%), with predominance in subtitles of two lines and with high speed. These findings were contrary to those found in Chaves (2012), Gabriel (2015) and Arraes (2015), within the scope of the CORSEL Project (Corpus, Segmentação e Legendagem). Key-words: Corpus.
