Resumo:
O presente trabalho parte do pressuposto de que a análise no âmbito da Geografia, por ter como premissa de estudo a relação sociedade/natureza como fundamento da produção do espaço geográfico, pode conduzir à sucessivas aproximações da compreensão, tanto da dinâmica urbana e da atual configuração do espaço, quanto dos problemas do meio ambiente resultantes da expansão da urbanização. Bem como, do ambiente urbano como um produto, ao mesmo tempo, geoecológico e sócio-histórico. Nessa perspectiva, elencou-se a cidade de Fortaleza-Ceará como a totalidade de estudo para a pesquisa tendo como recorte empírico o bairro Praia do Futuro II, e um recorte temporal a partir dos anos de 1950 a 2015, haja vista que, é um bairro litorâneo com características geoambientais e de uso e ocupação peculiares dentro do universo do município de Fortaleza-Ceará. Deste modo, a realização do trabalho se deu no intuito de compreender como ocorreram as transformações nos sistemas ambientais presentes no ambiente urbano do bairro em estudo. Assim, a pesquisa possui como objetivo principal: Compreender a relação entre a dinâmica geoambiental e a produção do espaço urbano na constituição do ambiente urbano no bairro Praia do Futuro II. Para isso, estruturou-se um arcabouço teórico-metodológico que possibilitou a compreensão da gênese e da evolução das transformações nos sistemas ambientais do bairro Praia do Futuro II. No contexto atual, evidencia-se no bairro em estudo grandes contrastes, no que concerne as relações sociais e da sociedade com a natureza. Tal fato ocasiona como reflexo as transformações dos sistemas ambientais.

Abstract:
The present work is based on the assumption that the analysis in the field of geography, as having the premise of studying the relationship between society and nature as the basis of the production of geographic space, can lead to successive approximations of the understanding of both the urban dynamics and the current configuration of space, and of the environmental problems resulting from the expansion of urbanization. As well, of the urban environment as a product, at the same time, geoecological and socio-historical. In this perspective, the city of Fortaleza-Ceará was listed as the totality of study for the research, having as an empirical clipping the neighborhood Praia do Futuro II, and a temporal clipping from the years of 1950 to 2015, since it is a a coastal district with geoenvironmental characteristics and peculiar use and occupation within the universe of the city of Fortaleza-Ceará. In this way, the work was done in order to understand how the transformations occurred in the environmental systems present in the urban environment of the neighborhood under study. Thus, the main objective of the research is to understand the relationship between geoenvironmental dynamics and the production of urban space in the constitution of the urban environment in the neighborhood Praia do Futuro II. For this, a theoretical-methodological framework was structured that made possible the understanding of the genesis and the evolution of the transformations in the environmental systems of the neighborhood Praia do Futuro II. In the current context, it is evident in the neighborhood in study great contrasts, regarding social relations and society with nature, this fact causes as a reflection, the transformations of environmental systems.
