A OPOSIÇÃO À POESIA COMO PAIDEIA EM PLATÃO

Resumo:
O propósito da presente pesquisa é buscar contribuir para os estudos acerca da divergência entre a produção filosófica de Platão e o emprego que se fazia da ποίησις como mecanismo de divulgação e manutenção da παιδεία grega. Nosso objetivo é confirmar a μίμησις como característica específica da ποιητικῆς clássica grega que impedia no platonismo que a linguagem desta fosse utilizada para a construção de um saber com fundamentação, tal como até então vinha se pretendendo. Para tanto, empreenderemos uma tentativa de definir, através de pesquisadores platônicos contemporâneos reconhecidos, o papel social específico que a ποίησις épica ocupava na construção do sujeito grego, em seguida aplicando sobre essa definição a crítica platônica, a fim de sublinhar o que havia de específico no projeto educacional de Platão, que não permitia a este o uso dos recursos linguísticos comuns em seu tempo. Apresentaremos ainda uma tentativa de contextualizar a questão da ποίησις com a vigente polêmica em torno da presença de uma doutrina esotérica em Platão, empregando para isso, de um lado alguns nomes basilares desta nova abordagem, associados à Escola de Tübingen- Milão, e do outro o tradicional opositor dessa doutrina, Schleiermacher. Concluiremos com uma avaliação da medida em que houve êxito nesse empreendimento, apontando possíveis características da ποιητικῆς, conforme o ideal homérico, ainda presentes em Platão e quais as possíveis justificativas para essa recorrência, tendo em vista a severidade das críticas com que ele apontou a incompatibilidade do formato poético para com seu projeto.
The purpose of the present research is to contribute to the studies about the divergence of Plato’s philosophic production and the use that was made of ποίησις as a way of promotion and maintenance of Greek’s παιδεία. Our objective is to approve the μίμησις as specific characteristic of classic Greek ποιητικῆς that obstructed its wording was used in Platonism for a construction of a fundamental knowledge, such as it has been meaning. To that, we will try to give a definition by modern and known platonic researchers about the specify social role of epic ποίησις in the construction of Greek subject and then applying the platonic critic in this definition in order that to emphasized what it’s specific in educational platonic project which denies the use of common linguistic means of its time. We will show an attempt of contextualization of ποίησις matter in the present polemic around the presence of an esoteric creed in Plato, using for this some main names in this new approach associated with Tübingen- Milan School, and in the other hand the traditional opponent of this creed, Schleiermacher. We will conclude with an evaluation of our success in this enterprise, showing possible characteristics of ποιητικῆς by Homeric ideal o ideal present in Plato and the possible reasons for recurrence, considering the severity of critics which was appointed by him between the poetic form and his project.
