RESUMO
A dissertação tem como tema Lazer e Turismo nas Barracas da Praia do Futuro: Usos e Conflitos Territoriais na Metrópole - Fortaleza- CE. A Praia do Futuro é uma das principais praias da Metrópole que oferece balneabilidade e serviços especializados de lazer, dentre eles destacam-se as barracas de praia. Objetiva-se analisar usos e conflitos territoriais provenientes da implantação das barracas; compreender formas de apropriação do espaço urbano, na faixa litorânea onde se instalam barracas de praia; investigar territorialidades de empreendimentos comerciais; compreender a posição do Estado, usuários e proprietários para chegar à aproximação da verdade dos fatos. A pesquisa adota metodologia crítica, abordagem quanto-qualitativa e utiliza-se de dados secundários. Realizaram-se pesquisas institucionais, atividades de campo, aplicação de entrevistas e observações in loco, com realização de registros fotográficos. Considera a realidade em constante mudança das e busca conflitos e contradições decorrentes da interação de diferentes sujeitos sociais que atuam na constituição do território da Praia do Futuro. Constata-se que os conflitos territoriais da Praia do Futuro são relacionados à posse e uso do território. Há questionamentos levantados pelo Ministério Público quanto à legalidade da alocação das barracas na Praia do Futuro, em terrenos públicos ou não definidos como faixa de praia. No que se refere a distintos usos, destacam-se o residencial, comercial, atividades atreladas ao lazer e ao turismo que compõem a história e organização do território de porção do litoral de Fortaleza.

Abstract:
ABSTRACT
The subject of this dissertation is the Leisure and the Tourism on the Tents of Praia do Futuro: Uses and Territorial Conflicts in the Metropolis - Fortaleza - CE. Praia do Futuro is one of the main beaches of its metropolis that offers bathing and specialized services of leisure, among these there are the beach tents. The objectives are to analyze the territorial uses and the conflicts from the implementation of the tents in Praia do Futuro; to understand the forms of appropriation of urban space along the coast where the beach huts have installed; to investigate existing territorialities these business ventures. To understand the opinion of the State’s, the users’ and the owners’ to get closer to the true of the facts. The research takes a critical methodology, with quality-quantity approach and it makes use of secondary data. It had done institutional researches, field activities, implementation of interviews and on-site observations with conducting photographic records. It had observed the changing reality of beach huts and search conflicts and contradictions arising from the interaction of different social subjects who work in the constitution of the territory of Praia do Futuro. It appears that the existing territorial conflicts in Praia do Futuro have related to the ownership and use of the territory. There are questions raised by the prosecution as to the legality of the allocation of tents in Praia do Futuro, whether they are on public lands as defined stretch of beach. As it concerns the different uses stand out residential, commercial, activities linked to leisure and tourism that make up the history and organization of the territory of that portion of the Fortaleza of coastline.
