GEOGRAFIA E LITERATURA: UM DIÁLOGO COM O SERTÃO NO ROMANCE “O QUINZE” DE RACHEL DE QUEIROZ

RESUMO
Trabalhos de cunho interdisciplinar vem tendo novas conotações no meio acadêmico, se mostrado de extrema relevância, pois busca um diálogo entre áreas, antes, sem afinidades aparentes. O diálogo entre Geografia e Literatura objetiva novas possibilidades de investigações, dando ênfase a perspectivas humanistas com base na filosofia fenomenológica. Alguns estudos de Geografia Cultural recorre ao texto literário como fonte de análise, com o objetivo de encontrar nas obras literárias informações sobre lugares e/ou épocas. Desde modo, temos como objetivo estabelecer um diálogo entre Geografia e Literatura, com o intuito de perceber novas espacialidades contidas na literatura. Para a experiência do diálogo entre Geografia e Literatura, trabalhamos com o romance “O Quinze”, escrito por Rachel de Queiroz em 1930, que tem a seca de 1915 enquanto fio condutor da narrativa e como forma de compreensão da paisagem do sertão. Nesta perspectiva, escolhemos o conceito de paisagem para a pesquisa, o qual entendemos enquanto resultado de uma dada cultura, que através de seus elementos, estabelece a mediação na transmissão de conhecimento, valores e símbolos. Observamos que o sertão se apresenta sob a paisagem da seca, seja no sertão de Quixadá ou na cidade de Fortaleza, a seca se apresenta enquanto mediadora na estrutura do romance, culminando em uma serie de problemáticas sociais, tais como o êxodo rural, a miséria, a fome e a morte. Ao longo do romance a paisagem sertaneja ganha movimento e profundidade, a partir de sua vivência e imaginação Rachel de Queiroz cria uma ligação entre o leitor e o sertão, recriando-o a partir de seus signos e símbolos.

ABSTRACT
Papers on interdisciplinary nature come with new connotations in academia, if shown of extreme relevance, because it seeks a dialog between areas, before, without apparent affinities. The dialog between geography and literature aims to new possibilities of investigations, with emphasis on the humanistic based on phenomenological philosophy. Some studies of Cultural Geography refers to the literary text as a source of analysis, with the goal of finding the literary information about places and/or times. In this way, we aim to establish a dialog between geography and literature, with a view to realize new spatialities contained in literature. For the experience of dialog between geography and literature, we work with the novel "O Quinze", written by Rachel de Queiroz in 1930 which has the drought of 1915 while conducting wire of the narrative and as a way of understanding the landscape of the hinterland. From this perspective, we chose the concept of landscape for research, which we understand as a result of a given culture, which through its elements, establishes the mediation in the transmission of knowledge, values and symbols. We observed that the hinterland presents itself in the landscape of drought, either in the Quixadá hinterland or in the city of Fortaleza, the drought presents itself as a mediator in the structure of the novel, culminating in a series of social problems, such as the rural exodus, poverty, hunger and death. Throughout the novel the country landscape gains movement and depth, from her experience and imagination Rachel de Queiroz creates a connection between the reader and the hinterland, recreating it from its signs and symbols.
