RESUMO
Esta dissertação tem como objeto o estudo de cidades do Maciço de Baturité e a análise do desenvolvimento do turismo rural e agricultura familiar em Baturité, Guaramiranga, Pacoti e Palmácia. Questiona-se a realidade dos espaços rurais e as dificuldades de produtores tendo como empíricas as atividades agrícolas e não agrícolas do Maciço de Baturité, agricultura familiar, turismo rural e artesanato. No que se refere à metodologia, a opção é pelo método dialético, na concepção de que os fatos e fenômenos se relacionam entre si, por constituírem totalidade, evita-se dicotomias, para melhor compreensão dos conflitos e contradições do espaço rural. Realizou-se pesquisa institucional e levantamento bibliográfico, além de pesquisa de campo onde se entrevistaram empreendedores do turismo rural, em propriedades de agricultura familiar, artesãos e agricultores. A dissertação estrutura-se em quatro partes: na primeira, apresenta-se o plano de dissertação; na segunda, mostra-se o olhar científico sobre o espaço rural e o surgimento da agricultura familiar, em resistência à convencional, à agricultura comercial degradadora; tem-se a vulnerabilidade da agricultura familiar, por não contar com políticas de apoio. No terceiro item, apresentam-se os dados da pesquisa de campo, e a parte original do estudo, sobre os achados da pesquisa; tendo-se a realidade da agricultura familiar e do turismo rural nos municípios de Baturité, Guaramiranga, Pacoti e Palmácia. Os resultados apontam que a agricultura familiar encontra-se desarticulada do turismo rural, nas regiões estudadas: Baturité, Guaramiranga, Pacoti e Palmácia, cidades que buscam atividades não agrícolas como forma de se manterem no local e conseguirem renda para sobrevivência. Conclui-se que as transformações das atividades de lazer e turismo, sobretudo em Guaramiranga e Pacoti, produziram impactos, no ritmo de vida dos residentes e na produção econômica do lugar.

Abstract:
ABSTRACT
This dissertation aims to study the cities of the Baturité Massif and the analysis of the development of rural tourism and family farming in Baturité, Guaramiranga, Pacoti and Palmácia. It is questioned the reality of the rural spaces and the difficulties of producers having as empirical the agricultural and non-agricultural activities of the Baturité Massif, family farming, rural tourism and handicrafts. Regarding methodology, the option is the dialectical method, in the conception that the facts and phenomena are related to each other, because they constitute totality, avoiding dichotomies, to better understand the conflicts and contradictions of the rural space. Institutional research and bibliographical research were carried out, as well as field research where rural tourism entrepreneurs were interviewed, in family farming, craftsmen and farmers. The dissertation is structured in four parts: in the first, the dissertation plan is presented; In the second one, the scientific perspective on rural space and the emergence of family agriculture, in resistance to conventional, degraded commercial agriculture, are shown; There is the vulnerability of family agriculture, because it does not have support policies. In the third item, we present the data of the field research, and the original part of the study, about the findings of the research; With the reality of family agriculture and rural tourism in the municipalities of Baturité, Guaramiranga, Pacoti and Palmácia. The results show that family farming is disjointed from rural tourism in the regions studied: Baturité, Guaramiranga, Pacoti and Palmácia, cities that seek non-agricultural activities as a way of staying in the place and obtaining income for survival. It is concluded that the transformations of leisure and tourism activities, especially in Guaramiranga and Pacoti, had an impact on the rhythm of life of the residents and on the economic production of the place.
