OS (DES)MASCARADOS: REFERENCIAÇÃO, IDEOLOGIA E CRÍTICA NA CONSTRUÇÃO DISCURSIVO-IDENTITÁRIA DO BLACK BLOC NA MÍDIA BRASILEIRA

RESUMO
Esta dissertação apresenta uma investigação da construção discursivo-identitária do Black Bloc na mídia brasileira. Partindo do pressuposto de que toda identidade é uma construção de linguagem, objetivamos discutir de que maneira a revista Veja – eminente representante da mídia hegemônica – a revista Carta Capital – ponta de lança da mídia contra-hegemônica – e a página do Facebook do Black Bloc – RJ – tomada aqui como representante da mídia radical – construíram discursivamente a identidade do Black Bloc, no espaço dos Protestos de 2013. Imbuídos de uma perspectiva bakhtiniana de linguagem articulada a uma crítica da ideologia de base zizekiana e através das categorias Introdução referencial, Anáfora e Dêixis, intentamos a) descrever os processos de referenciação e seus possíveis efeitos de sentido nas reportagens O Bloco do quebra-quebra, publicada em Veja, o Black Bloc está na rua, publicada em Carta Capital, e Black Bloc, questão de escolha, postada na página do Facebook do Black Bloc - RJ; b) analisar comparativamente as identidades do Black Bloc presentes no âmbito dos três textos mencionados e c) discutir a dimensão ético-política imbricada nessas construções discursivo-identitárias do Black Bloc. Para tanto, utilizaremos como referencial teórico-metodológico a teoria da Referenciação; as ideias de Bakhtin e o Círculo a respeito do papel da linguagem no espaço da vida social e as propostas de uma crítica zizekeana da ideologia. Como resultado da investigação, pudemos ver que Veja constrói o Black Bloc como um movimento de baderneiros e de vândalos, o qual deveria ser criminal e duramente punido; já Carta Capital, como uma tática de protesto anticapitalista desinteressante no que se refere à efetivação de conquistas sociais concretas e, por fim, o Black Bloc - RJ, como espécie de heróis que se erguem contra os desmandos do Estado e do capitalismo.

Abstract:
ABSTRACT
This thesis presents an investigation of the discursive-identity framing of the Black Bloc movement in the Brazilian media. Based on the assumption that all identity is a linguistic construction, we aim to discuss in which way the magazine Veja - notable exponent of the hegemonic media - Carta Capital magazine - spearhead of the counter-hegemonic media - and the Black Bloc - RJ Facebook page - taken here as representative of the radical alternative media - discursively built the Black Bloc's identity in the 2013 Protests' context. Imbued with a Bakhtinian perspective of language conjugated with a critique on Zizekian-based ideology and through the categories "Referential Introduction, Anaphora and Deixis", we try to a) describe the processes of reference and their possible effects of meaning on the articles "The Bloc of vandalism", published by Veja, "Black Bloc is in the street", published by Carta Capital, and "Black Bloc, matter of choice", posted on the Black Bloc-RJ Facebook page; b) to comparatively analyse the identities of the Black Bloc movement present within the three mentioned texts and c) to discuss the ethical-political dimension imbricated in these discursive-identity constructions of the Black Bloc movement. To do so, we will use as theoretical-methodological reference the theory of Reference, Bakhtin's ideas and the Circle of the role of language in the space of social life and the proposals of a Zizekian critique of ideology. As a result of the investigation, we could conclude that Veja treats the Black Bloc movement as a bunch of thugs and vandals, that should be considered criminal and harshly punished; Carta Capital, on the other hand, sees it as a tactic of anti-capitalist protest that is uninteresting with regard to the concretization of real social achievements; and finally, the Black Bloc-RJ page sees itself as a kind of heroes who stand up against the mismanagement of the state and capitalism
