ABSTRACT
The present work is an analysis of the animation Mundo Bita, whose content is
available on Youtube and other channels of sharing on TV and on the Internet. Aim
to show how this Brazilian production approaches narratives and representations
about the universe of children, as thought by different ideas and pedagogical
conceptions. For this we start from the vision and historical construction of the
concept of childhood in the West, passing through the teaching proposition and
thoughtful policies, especially in Brazil for that age. Then I analyze the category of
childhood and its relation to the notion of culture and education in the dimensions
(national, visual, local, popular) and how these dynamics advocate a multiple and
diverse condition of being a child; Finally I use the method of content analysis, I
approach the animation Mundo Bita, from five thematic units (Being in movement,
gender, The making of the imagination, Body and cultural Manifestations) to thus
show how the drawing appropriates and reproduces representations on childhood,
within the cultural specificities, which make it a reality, stage, condition equally
diverse of the human kind.
