RESUMO
A presente pesquisa tem como objetivo central apreender as percepções dos jovens do ensino médio integrado ao técnico em telecomunicações do Instituto Federal do Ceará (IFCE) sobre a formação discente recebida. Assim, traçamos um diálogo entre as categorias juventude, neoliberalismo, ensino médio integrado e formação discente. Nesse processo, discutimos educação, trabalho e suas metamorfoses históricas, desde a sua concepção enquanto categoria central do processo de humanização do homem, até às novas configurações apresentadas no contexto atual. Questionamo-nos nesta pesquisa: quais percepções dos jovens do ensino médio integrado ao técnico em telecomunicações do Instituto Federal do Ceará sobre a formação discente recebida? Para respondê-la, além do debate teórico entre as categorias já citadas realizamos uma pesquisa de campo. A pesquisa de campo foi realizada com 15 jovens do 7º semestre do integrado em telecomunicações do IFCE. A pesquisa aqui realizada trata-se de uma pesquisa de natureza qualitativa, com inspiração no método marxista, que teve como técnicas a pesquisa bibliográfica, aplicação de questionários e realização de grupo focal. No decorrer da dissertação abordamos sobre a expansão das escolas de ensino médio integrado no país, em especial, dos Institutos Federais. Realizamos, também, um debate sobre a reforma do ensino médio e uma análise do currículo integrado e das propostas pedagógicas do integrado em telecomunicações do IFCE. As percepções trazidas pelos jovens no decorrer dessa dissertação nos fazem refletir sobre que tipo de formação discente esses jovens estão sendo submetidos, quais as suas perspectivas e propostas para o ensino médio integrado no país, o que eles pensam sobre esse ensino, a realidade em que estão inseridos e o cotidiano de incertezas em que se encontram.

Abstract:
ABSTRACT The present research has as main objective to apprehend the perceptions of the young people of the high school integrated to the telecommunications technician of the Federal Institute of Ceará (IFCE) on the training received. Thus, we draw a dialogue between the categories youth, neoliberalism, integrated high school and student training. In this process, we discuss education, work and its historical metamorphoses, from its conception as a central category of the humanization process of man, to the new configurations presented in the current context. We ask ourselves in this research: what are the perceptions of the high school students integrated to the telecommunications technician of the Federal Institute of Ceará on the training received? In order to answer it, besides the theoretical debate between the categories already mentioned, we conducted a field research. The field research was carried out with 15 youngsters from the 7th semester of the integrated telecommunications sector of the IFCE. The research carried out here is a research of a qualitative nature, inspired by the Marxist method, whose techniques included bibliographical research, application of questionnaires and the accomplishment of a focal group. In the course of the dissertation we discuss the expansion of integrated secondary schools in the country, especially the Federal Institutes. We also held a debate on the reform of secondary education and an analysis of the integrated curriculum and pedagogical proposals of the integrated telecommunications in the IFCE. The perceptions brought by the young people during the course of this dissertation make us reflect on what kind of education these youngsters are undergoing, what their perspectives and proposals for integrated secondary education in the country are, what they think about this teaching, the reality in which are inserted and the daily uncertainties in which they are.
