Resumo:
RESUMO Continuamente as organizações estão percebendo que o engajamento em projetos sociais é uma forma importante de melhorar a estratégia empresarial e obter vantagem competitiva na condução de negócios. O trabalho científico a seguir foi realizado com o objetivo de identificar e descrever as ações sustentáveis de Responsabilidade Social de uma Instituição de Ensino Superior, assim como analisar suas relações de envolvimento e desenvolvimento da comunidade local. A pesquisa realizou-se, primeiramente, através de levantamento bibliográfico no qual se buscou apresentar as características e definições de RS assim como sua origem e evolução no âmbito das organizações. Posteriormente analisou-se a relação da RS no contexto das IES e sua importância para a sociedade e para a comunidade acadêmica. Na análise realizada, segundo os indicativos da instituição pesquisada, observou-se uma maior atenção aos programas voltados a diversas problemáticas sociais presentes na comunidade, sobretudo aquelas relacionadas à educação, saúde e integração da população com questões que envolvem a relação do homem com o meio ambiente. Nas considerações finais, concluiu-se que a RS desempenha um impacto estratégico, por meio da gestão competente, no desenvolvimento da comunidade, além da geração de perspectivas de melhorias na sociedade. Abstract:
ABSTRACT Continually organizations are realizing that engagement in social projects is an important way to improve business strategy and competitive advantage in conducting business. The scientific work was then carried out in order to identify and describe the sustainable actions of social responsibility of an institution of higher education, as well as analyze their involvement relations and development of the local community. The research was conducted primarily through a literature in which it sought to present the characteristics and RS settings as well as its origin and evolution within organizations. Subsequently analyzed the relationship of RS in the context of the HEI and its importance to society and the academic community. In the analysis carried out according to the indications of the institution researched there was a greater attention to programs aimed at various social problems in the community, especially those related to education, health and integration of population issues involving the relationship of man with the environment. In the final considerations, it was concluded that RS has a strategic impact, through competent management, community development, as well as generating prospects for improvements in society.
