AUTOPERCEPÇÃO DO COMPORTAMENTO SEXUAL DE RISCO DE ADOLESCENTES ÀS DOENÇAS SEXUALMENTE TRANSMISSÍVEIS

RESUMO
As doenças sexualmente transmissíveis são um problema de saúde pública. Muitos jovens tornam-se vulneráveis a essas doenças por inúmeros fatores, dentre eles a imaturidade cognitiva, o não uso do preservativo e a falta de conhecimento sobre a gravidade das doenças. A vulnerabilidade dos adolescentes às DST/HIV deve sempre ser lembrada como condição influenciada pelo meio social, cultural e econômico em que vivem. O estudo objetivou identificar o conhecimento e a autopercepção de risco em relação às DST/HIV/aids dos adolescentes e jovens escolares. Estudo transversal e descritivo, realizado na cidade de Fortaleza-CE. Participaram do estudo 264 estudantes do ensino fundamental e médio de uma escola pública pertencente à Regional IV. O instrumento utilizado foi o questionário de Conhecimentos, Atitudes e Práticas Sexuais da população brasileira, conhecido como Inquérito PCAP. Os dados foram organizados no SPSS e analisados por meio de estatística descritiva. Os resultados da análise mostram 57, 2% eram do sexo feminino e 42,7% do sexo masculino. As idades variaram de 13 a 21 anos, distribuídos entre 8a série (16%), 9a série (27,3%), ensino fundamental e 1º(20,8%), 2º (25%) e 3º (10,6%) anos do ensino médio. Os participantes do estudo possuem conhecimento incipiente em relação aos métodos de prevenção e transmissão das DSTHIV/aids. Há incoerência entre o nível de conhecimento dos jovens, sua autopercepção de risco e suas práticas sexuais. Podemos considerar que a autopercepção de risco que os jovens do estudo possuem, os tornam vulneráveis diante das possibilidade de exposição às doenças sexualmente transmissíveis. Diante das vulnerabilidades em que muitos jovens se encontram, é necessário uma articulação efetiva entre as escolas, os pais, os serviços de saúde e a comunidade, para que possamos minimizar os fatores de risco envolvidos mediante orientações pertinentes sobre as temáticas, tornando-os corresponsáveis e co-participativos para com sua saúde e com a saúde de seus companheiros.

ABSTRACT
The sexually transmitted diseases are a public health problem. Many young people become vulnerable to these diseases by several factors, among them the cognitive immaturity, the non-use of condoms and the lack of knowledge about the severity of the diseases. The vulnerability of adolescents to DST/HIV should always be remembered as a condition influenced by social, cultural and economic situation in which they live. The study aimed to identify the perception and knowledge of adolescents and young people on the ways of prevention of STD/HIV/Aids. Sectional, descriptive study carried out in public state schools of the city of Fortaleza, belonging to the regional executive board IV, with students enrolled respectively, belonging to classes of the first, second and third year. The instrument used was a questionnaire on Knowledge, Attitudes and Sexual Practices of the Brazilian population, known as Inquiry PCAP. Study participants were 264 students from the elementary and middle level education in a public school belonging to the Regional IV of the city of Fortaleza, Ceara. Of these, distributed between 8 series (16 %), 9 series (27.3 %) of the elementary school and 1 (20.8 % ), 2 (25 %) and 3 (10.6 %) years of high school. The participants of the study have incipient knowledge in relation to methods of prevention and transmission of STDs. There is inconsistency between the level of knowledge of young people, their perception of risk and their sexual practices. We consider that the perception of risk that young people study have, make them vulnerable to the possibility of exposure to sexually transmitted diseases. In front of vulnerabilities that many young people are, it is necessary an effective articulation between schools, parents, the health services and the community, so that we can minimise the risk factors involved with guidelines that are relevant to the issues, making them share responsibility and co-participatory for with their health and the health of their lovers.
