Resumo:
Esta pesquisa tem como objeto de análise a condição do turismo, capaz de promover o crescimento e o desenvolvimento local (MARTINS; CORIOLANO, 2009; VASCONCELOS; CORIOLANO, 2008; RODRIGUES, 2001) na comunidade de Pacoti, Ceará. Historicamente a cidade recebeu o nome do Rio Pacoti que nasce ao extremo sul da Serra de Baturité e banha o Município do mesmo nome. Geograficamente, o Município de Pacoti está localizado no Maciço de Baturité em uma Área de Proteção Ambiental - APA de Baturité onde o clima é ameno, entre 20 e 30 graus centígrados. Os resquícios da mata atlântica caracterizam a vegetação local diferenciando do aspecto paisagístico das demais áreas da região. Reunindo os aspectos históricos e geográficos é que nos levam a pesquisar a opção do turista e excursionista para a área em estudo e com auxílio da aplicação de formulários acreditamos reunir todas as informações sobre a escolha pela área serrana e não pelo litoral. Pacoti possui uma área de 111,95 (km²) composta por 11.097 habitantes, distante de Fortaleza 118 km (IBGE, 2011). A pesquisa tem como objetivo: Investigar a correlação entre os segmentos turísticos do município de Pacoti - CE, no contexto do desenvolvimento local. Entre os objetivos específicos têm-se: discutir a definição de desenvolvimento local no município; construir indicadores empíricos para o desenvolvimento local e discutir a percepção de desenvolvimento associado ao turismo em Pacoti. A pesquisa é quantitativa, descritiva, exploratória e probabilística sobre a percepção do turismo pelos moradores urbanos de Pacoti (RICHARDSON, 1999). Usam-se duas fontes da antropologia visual: foto, vídeo e depoimento dos pacotienses. Os resultados preliminares mostram que Pacoti é mais urbanizada que Guaramiranga. Não é exatamente um destino de vilegiatura (DANTAS, 2007). E a atividade turística nestas áreas gera tanto impactos ambientais positivos quanto negativos. Os primeiros podem ser elencados como: sustentação econômica da área contribuindo para o desenvolvimento local, o emprego no corredor turístico que margeia a estrada Guaramiranga a Pacoti, o aumento da oferta de atividades de lazer e recreação e aumento da fiscalização. E os segundos como pisoteamento excessivo, depredação da flora e da infraestrutura, desaparecimento da fauna em razão dos ruídos, aumento do lixo, drogas e a paisagem está mudando sob o efeito dos investimentos imobiliários que deve crescer bastante, desde o pólo de Guaramiranga até o município de Pacoti.

Abstract:
This research aims to analyze the condition of tourism able to promote the local growth and development (MARTINS; CORIOLANO, 2009; VASCONCELOS; CORIOLANO, 2008; RODRIGUES, 2001) at the community of Pacoti, Ceará. Historically, the town was named by the river that is born Pacoti at the southern end of the Sierra of Baturité and bathes the municipality of the same name. Geographically, the city is located at Baturité Massif in an Environmental Protection Area - APA of Baturité where the climate is mild, between 20 and 30 degrees centigrade. The remnants of rainforest feature the local vegetation differing from other areas of the landscape of the region. Bringing together the historical and geographical aspects lead us to investigate the option of tourist and daytrippers to the study area and with the help of application forms, we believe that we gather all the information about choosing the mountainous area instead of the coast. Pacoti has an area of 111.95 (km ²) comprising 11,097 inhabitants, 118 km away from Fortaleza (IBGE, 2011). The research aims: To investigate the correlation between segments of the tourist town of Pacoti - CE, in the context of local development. The specific objectives among others are: to discuss local development in the municipality; construct empirical indicators for endogenous development and identify the perception of the people from Pacoti in relation to tourism. The research is qualitative, descriptive, exploratory and probabilistic about the perception of tourism by the urban residents of Pacoti (RICHARDSON, 1999). Two sources of visual anthropology are used: photo, video and testimony from the people of Pacoti. Preliminary results show that Pacoti is more urbanized than Guaramiranga. It is not exactly a destination where someone wants to stay for some time in order to be away from the big cities (DANTAS, 2007). And the touristic activity in these areas generates both positive and negative environmental impacts. The first ones can be listed as: economic sustainability of the area contributing to local development, the employment in the tourist corridor that borders the road Guaramiranga to Pacoti, the increased supply of recreation and leisure activities and increased inspection. And the second ones as excessive trampling, depredation of flora and infrastructure, disappearance of wildlife due to noise, increasing of trash, drugs and the landscape is changing under the influence of real estate investments which should increase enough from the pole of city Guaramiranga to Pacoti.
