As feiras-livres em Fortaleza: retrato da polissemia urbana

Resumo:
A presente dissertação de mestrado tem como objetivo estudar e
revelar o cotidiano das feiras-livres, assim como, responder a pergunta: Qual a
importância das feiras-livres para a cidade de Fortaleza? Essa pesquisa possui um
diferencial com relação a utilização de duas linguagens para compor o texto
propriamente dito, além da linguagem escrita (verbal) utilizamos a imagem
(fotográfica) no intuito de valorar a documentação da realidade da feira-livre. No
intuito de revelar o interior da feira-livre, primeiramente lançamos mão de um
breve levantamento histórico sobre o processo de modernização imposto a cidade
de Fortaleza a começar pela data de sua passagem a condição de vila até os dias
de hoje, e na medida do possível relacionar esse processo com a evolução das
feiras-livres no mesmo recorte histórico. Descrevemos também o interior da feiralivre, revelando sua polissemia, isto é, sua multiplicidade de gestos, de cheiros, de
sons e de cores, assim como também sua diversidade de tipos sociais e de
mercadorias, enfim sua ambigüidade atual com relação a abrigar em seu interior,
tanto o prosaico como o moderno. Procuramos nas conversas informais com os
feirantes desvendar um pouco do cotidiano feirante, pinçar das obrigações
rotineiras o extraordinário, o momento certo, para então descortinar suas táticas
de sobrevivências em detrimento das estratégias impostas a eles pelo sistema
capitalista. Atentamos para o fato da mercadoria, objeto central no existir da feiralivre, ela está cada vez mais presente no interior da feira não mais como produto
de subsistência das classes menos favorecidas, mas está cada vez mais vestida
de sentido como objeto de desejo de um consumo massificado, hoje plenamente
instalado dentro da feira-livre, visando alcançar todas as camadas sociais,
elevando uma ode “a sociedade do espetáculo”. E por fim relacionamos a feiralivre ao termo da informalidade, com relação direta ao trabalho informal, na
medida em que ela é atualmente uma das formas de comercializações urbanas
que absorvem um grande contingente de desempregados oriundos do emprego
formal. Revelamos também a grande diversidade de trabalhos encontrados dentro
do espaço da feira-livre, tanto os diretamente ligados ao funcionamento da feira
como os indiretos, que dependem da feira para existirem.
Abstract:
To present master's degree dissertation he/she has as objective
studies and to reveal the daily of the fair-free ones, as well as, to answer the
question: Which the importance of the fair-free ones for the city of Fortaleza? That
research possesses a diferencial with relationship the use of two languages to
compose the text, besides the written language (verbal) we used the image
(photographic) in the intention of valuing the documentation of the reality of the fairfree. In the intention of revealing the interior of the fair-free, firstly we threw hand of
a brief historical rising on the modernization process imposed the city of Fortaleza
to begin for the date of your passage the villa condition to the days today, and
insofar as possible to relate that process with the evolution of the fair-free ones in
the same historical cutting. We also described the interior of the fair-free, revealing
your polissemia, that is, your multiplicity of gestures, of smells, of sounds and of
colors, as well as also your diversity of social types and of goods, finally your
current ambiguity with relationship to shelter in your interior, as much the prosaic
as the modern. We sought in the informal chats with the merchants to unmask a
little of the daily merchant, pinçar of the routine obligations the extraordinary, the
right moment, for then to pull the curtain your tactics of survivals in detriment of the
strategies imposed them by the capitalist system. We looked at the fact of the
merchandise, central object in existing of the fair-free, she is more and more not
more present inside the fair as product of subsistence of the less favored classes,
but it is dressed more and more of sense as object of desire of an influenced
consumption, today fully installed inside of the fair-free, seeking to reach all the
social layers, elevating an ode " the society of the show ". it is finally we related
her/it fair-free to the term of the informalidade, with direct relationship to the
informal work, in the measure in that she is now one in the ways of urban
commercializations that absorb a great contingent of unemployed originating from
of the formal employment. We revealed the great diversity of works also found
inside of the space of the fair-free, so much the directly linked to the operation of
the fair as the indirect ones, that depend on the fair for us to exist.
